Customer called for no heat on second floor of new home. Home was finished within the last year or so. Went to attic to diagnose second floor furnace and upon going up to attic found flue pipe from inducer assembly of unit no longer attached to the rest of the flue pipe exhausting out of roof. Opened furnace door and found the flue not attached inside unit as well. Included several pictures. Upon further investigation found the flue pipe was only being held together by tape. Their was no screws attaching each piece of pipe together. The tape did not hold and is the cause of the flue pipe becoming de attached. I reattached flue with screws and sealed with foil tape. With having the flue spilling gasses into attic , essentially the results would have been catastrophic. Performed in room co test with combustion analyzer after repair and found no traces of co at this time.

Customer is selling home and first floor zone not working, furnace a 33 error code for high limit code, checked all venting which was clear, pulled trap to make sure it wasn’t clogged, roll out switches not tripped, took temperature reading of heat exchanger and furnace would cut out at 125 degrees, tried this 4 times and each time right around 125-130 degrees furnace would shut down, high limit is set for 210-20, jumped out high limit switch and furnace stayed on supply temperature at 130 degrees, delta t at 70 degrees, ordered correct part furnace needs will need to call customer when it comes in, customer paid full balance.

Main line snaking and camera. Inspected and determined that there was a complete blockage that was unable to be cleared / main line snake was unable to go through several fittings and clog. Inspected crawl space and determined that the existing 3” line was backpitched and completely full of hardened waste matter and water. While inspecting line, the 3” line dropped from the wait of the line at an elbow that was not glued properly to the vertical drainage line. Also found that there was no cleanout on existing line. Also found that the 3” line was just “sleeved” into a larger 4” vertical sewage line going into the ground. This section was not sealed which allowed sewage gasses to accumulate under the structure. Customer explained that she often smelled an “odor of sewage” at times in the residence. Repiped pvc 3” drain line in crawl space into existing 4” sdr line. Installed a cleanout for future cleanout on this main line. Repiped 3” line into a larger

Folkes arrived on 10/27/2021 for the dishwasher not working. Upon arrival also I saw the error code on dishwasher and it was a problem with draining. After inspecting everything I noticed the knockout for the dishwasher had to be knocked out. I knocked it out and re connected everything. It is now working properly. I then thanked the customer for choosing folkes and left.

This is to put in the garbage disposal customer supplied Folkes arrived on 10/26/2021 to install a customer supplied garbage disposal. Upon arrival I removed the old drain and dishwasher tailpiece. I then mounted the new disposal and secured it to the sink. I then connected the trap under the sink as well as the dishwasher drain to the new disposal and then ran water to check for leaks, there are no leaks at this time. I then plugged it in and turned the switch on. Everything is working properly at this time. I then thanked the customer for choosing folkes and left.

Customer said AC not shutting off, came to home and system was off, first started with AC dropped temperature in home to 73, let run turned thermostat to 76 and system shut off, cycled heat raised temperature to 80 burner came on let run until blower came on, lowered temperature in home burner shut off and blower ran to cool heat exchanger, customer said she was cooking a lot today and was hot so system probably kept cycling to cool off home. Everything is operational and working.
