On arrival, the homeowner informed me that the system froze over a few days ago. They found the air filter was dirty due to some remodeling that was being done in the home. They noticed the system did not cool even after they removed the filter. I performed a diagnostic on the system and found that the outdoor capacitor had failed on the herm side. I spoke with the homeowner and he chose to have the outdoor capacitor replaced. I replaced the capacitor and also washed the outdoor coil at no additional cost. I then cycled power at the thermostat and verified the system is operational. Everything was working at completion of service.
