On arrival, I spoke with the homeowner who informed me he had a power outage yesterday and it took a while for the system to cool the house down. He asked me to go over everything and verify it is in good shape. I found the 4 inch media filter was dirty and replaced it. I also removed the 1 inch filter to prevent unwanted stress on the system. The drain line had some build up in it as well. I presented repair options to the homeowner and he chose to have the drain line serviced and install a surge protection device at the outdoor system. I cleaned, cleared and treated the drain line and installed a surge protection device at the outdoor unit. Secured the compressor wiring and washed the outdoor coil at no additional cost. The system is operational at this time.
