On arrival, I found that the system was not running with the thermostat on a call for cool. I went through the system and found that the run capacitor at the outdoor unit had failed across the HERM terminals. I went up into the attic and also found that the primary drain line was backed up and tripped the water safety switch. I installed a new outdoor run capacitor and new power surge protector at the outdoor unit. Installed all new wiring terminal connections and secured high voltage lugs. I cleaned and cleared the primary drain line and added in drain treatment solution to help ensure the system drains condensate properly from the evaporator coil to the downstairs bathroom sink. Cycled high voltage power to the system and checked over operation. Everything is working at this time.
