Performed heat check. Checked the electrical, mechanical, safety, and performance of the system. I cleared the condensation drain line and flow tested the drain with two gallons of water. I also treated the drain line. The air filter was clean and had been recently replaced. The secondary condensation drain was set up to dump into the secondary pan. This would allow water to flow into and out of the secondary pan without tripping any safety float switches. Options for repair were presented to the homeowner and he chose to have a float switch installed on the secondary drain line. I installed the float switch and function tested the system. The system was running at the completion of service.
