Completed an air conditioning repair for a residential customer. The air conditioner was not cooling their home effectively due to an evaporator coil that was clogged with dirt and debris. I removed the coil and cleaned it thoroughly, which resolved the issue. The customer was thankful for the service.
I sealed air ducts throughout a customer’s home today to improve cooling efficiency. I used mastic sealant and foil-backed tape to seal leaks and gaps in the ductwork, ensuring no air loss. I also installed zoned AC controls with Honeywell dampers, allowing the customer to control cooling in different areas of the home. After testing, the system is now more efficient and provides better temperature control.
I performed fall HVAC maintenance on a Lennox gas furnace today. I inspected the heat exchanger, cleaned the burner assembly, and replaced the air filter. I also tested the thermostat to ensure it was functioning properly and checked the blower motor for any wear. The system is ready for the colder months and is running efficiently.
I repaired an air conditioning system this morning that wasn’t cooling due to a clogged drain line. After clearing the drain line using a wet/dry vacuum, I added drain line tablets to prevent future clogs. I tested the system, and it is now draining properly and cooling the home effectively.
I installed a new AC system today, replacing an outdated unit with a Rheem Classic Series 14 SEER system. I connected the refrigerant lines, installed a new thermostat, and charged the system with R-410A refrigerant. After installation, I tested the system for proper cooling, and the new unit is functioning well, providing efficient cooling to the home.
I was called to repair a gas fireplace that was not working properly. I arrived at the house and found that the pilot light was out. I checked the gas line and found that it was not connected properly. I reconnected the gas line and tested the pilot light. The pilot light stayed lit, and the fireplace started working properly.
I was called to a home to diagnose a water heater that was leaking water. I arrived at the house and found that the water heater was leaking from the bottom. I inspected the water heater and found that the tank was cracked. I replaced the tank and refilled the water heater with fresh water. I also checked the pressure relief valve and made sure it was working properly. I tested the water heater to make sure it was working properly and that there were no leaks.
I was called to a home to check on a low-freon issue in an air conditioner. I performed a refrigerant leak search to find the leak and repaired it.
I replaced the condenser fan motor on a York air conditioner. It was a challenging job, but I was able to complete it successfully. I had to remove the old motor, install the new motor, and then test the system to ensure it was working properly.
I was called to repair an air conditioner that was not cooling. I arrived at the scene and found that the air conditioner was not cooling due to a faulty compressor. I diagnosed the problem and replaced the compressor, which resolved the issue.
Water heater replacement due to tank corrosion that caused a water leak.
Inspection of a water heater that is making popping noises.
