Grogg's has been our go to HVAC firm for the 10 years I've been pastor. Frank was our guy (may he rest in peace). The new team has stepped up and done excellent service. We are in replacement mode for Boilers and air-conditioners with the Church being 30 years old. Thanks to all the techs for their service.

My furnace malfunctioned. Built in safeguards functioned as they should and only a blower motor burned. However, there was a lot of smoke and I was very shaken. I called Groggs and their office staff was wonderful. They immediately dispatched a service technician who arrived in about 20 minutes. Chris figured out what had happened and made sensible recommendations that I accepted. When they were unable to procure the parts needed to repair the furnace immediately, they loaned me a couple of space heaters. I feel they did all they could to help and I am very grateful for Chris’s knowledge and kind demeanor.

Return visit to change out control board. Checked heat rise and combustion analysis. System is almost 20 yrs old and we can’t guarantee furnace won’t go out again.
Mobile home furnace
26 yr old heil furnace has a failed gas valve. Estimate repair cost is $750-950. Not sure if anything else is wrong past that. Unit is past its life expectancy and repair is not advised. Customer is scheduled for an estimate to replace system tomorrow 3-5 pm.
Customer will need a SecureAire filter #R2025-PLT. Will also need service call for AprilAire dehumidifier as it is showing an E6 code for low temperature thermistor failure. All checks good on heating and cooling equipment. One year old systems were cleaned and in good working order.

Replaced thermostat per customer request. She wanted something simpler to use. Switched from eco bee to an AprilAire 8444. Customer also bought an extra air filter.
Customer had water leaking from drain tee and also elbow in exhaust vent pipe. Gathered fittings and repaired leaks. While doing repair I found that the bulb in customers Reme halo had expired, customer declined replacing bulb.
24 yr old carrier furnace was flashing code for pressure switch. Checked to insure drain line was clear. After fiddling with switch we got furnace running again. Informed customer that furnace is past its life expectancy and repair is not guaranteed. Customer declined replacing pressure switch. This unit has had multiple parts replaced on it his year and is likely to continue giving customer issues.
Fuse on board was blown. Found thermostat and board wired wrong causing a short. Wired correctly, replaced fuse, set gas pressure and fan speed. Applied silver tape to open gaps in duct work.
2003 Trane furnace has a faulty control board. Tried new board but system is still not operating, getting a different code. I believe we didn’t get the correct board. I will check in with supplier to confirm board tomorrow and be back in touch with customer
Replace automatic air vents and failed circulator pump, adjusted auto fill valve and bleed air from boiler loop.
Anniversary check of hvac system. Changed filter. Ac unit has a chalky green substance on it. Customer had used car wax on it. Everything else checked out fine. Customer declined signing up on maintenance program.
Inducer motor replacement, adding supply, and return.
