HVAC Repair Service: A troubled homeowner reached out concerning an uncommon noise from their HVAC system. To diagnose this issue, I conducted a thorough system evaluation. During the inspection, I determined that the source of the noise was a worn-out blower belt. I replaced the worn belt with a new one, and after the replacement, I confirmed that the HVAC system was running smoothly and quietly, effectively resolving the noise problem while ensuring optimal performance. Following the system's confirmation of top-notch performance, I explained to the homeowner the benefits of our maintenance plans to maintain this level of excellence.
Cleaned the flame sensor and flame rod. Checked Gas pressure it is at 9in/wc. Ran multiple faucets for awhile and had no issues.

2001 Trane modular air handler with 2018 Goodman heat pump using washable filter. System is low on refrigerant, getting pressures of 25low/190high, along with both the blower capacitor and outdoor dual cell Capacitor being out of range. Customer yearly has leak issue and has replaced indoor coil a couple of times along with potential airflow issues. Customer would like to avoid heavy spending towards temporary fixes and have the intent to replace in very near future anyway, and so would like a comfort advisor visit to get some estimates and see options available.
2021 Ruud split system using AA413 filter. Replaced filter. All checks good at this time. Customer has Cozy HVAC Plus plan and is set to renew in November

2017 Heil heat pump system w/ Honeywell 16x25x4 filter box. All checks good at this time. Customer would like to wait to decide on renewing his maintenance agreement. We spoke on the difference between visitation options, the cost, and attempted to clear up any miscommunication post the switch to Service Titan.
Performed Cozy + Cooling maintenance per customer agreement. System is running and cooling well with good refrigerant pressures. All electrical checks good as well. Changed AA213 filter as well.
Customer said ac was not working. Found wire on the capacitor to the compressor melted in half and contactor was corroded. Replaced both and repaired wire. Confirmed operation. Told customer I can’t guarantee how long repair will last. Set lead for new ac.
Repair the water line in the basement at the wall. New shut off valves, new pressure reducing valve, pressure gauge, check valve and new 3/4 inch water line tied back into the water line in the basement bathroom.
The noise customer was experiencing was just the blower motor picking up speed with a call for heat and cool. Fan is set to on . Went ahead and did cooling maintenance check today. Filter and surge protection are still in good shape. I did not witness anything abnormal and System is running fine. Informed customer of a leaky water valve in the basement. Customer was already aware but did not wish to take any action to fix leak.
Changed indoor air filter (AA413). Cleaned outdoor coil with water hose. Checked electrical connections and and draws on the fan and compressor. Checked capacitor. All electrical components are within range. Refrigerant levels and temperatures look good. Reme Halo and surge protection devices are all operational.
