I have used Grogg’s many times at different homes and for all kind of installations. They are always courteous, informative and efficient. They answer my questions without getting annoyed My only suggestion is that when they walk through the house with mud on their boots, that they wear booties over them. I should have made the request when they got there but I didn’t think about it.

Service Call Fee: 16 year old R-22 system has a leak and a locking up compressor. The system needs replaced.
Service Call Fee: Checked the humidifier for proper operation. I put it into test mode to verify the functioning of the equipment. I checked the current humidity going into the furnace and it was ready around 47% humidity. You want to keep the indoor humidity below 50%. I didn’t find any issues. Everything is functioning properly. I explained the maintenance plan but the homeowner declined.
Service Call Platinum Client Heat pump was operating properly when ran tested. Customer cleaned filter. Customer expressed that another contractor added 4lbs of refrigerant last year. Pressures were within range for the day. Hvac equipment will have to be size accurately base on the square footage and heat lost to make sure it can keep up.
Performed Platinum Comfort Club Membership Tune-Up on Heating & Cooling System Cleaned and checked operation of equipment. All checks were good. Recommend surge protector for equipment. Quoted price for air purifier as well.

Service Call Fee: Homeowner was considered about an odd smell coming from the furnace. Upon arrival I was informed that the carbon monoxide detector had gone off the night before. I performed several standard checks while performing a combustion analysis. The carbon monoxide levels were too high to register. My detector went into an over limit fault forcing me to have to turn the furnace off for the homeowners safety. Furnace is 13 years old and out of warranty. The air conditioner is the same age and has never been hooked up. Estimated cost to repair furnace is $2,500.00
