Service Call Platinum Client Part covered under warranty, ordering Reversing valve. Customer will be responsible for the labor. When we return with the part we will want to perform his maintenance check as well.
Service Call After Hours Fee Arrived to find strap holding condenser wires up had fell down and were stopping the blades from turning. Strapped up wires and tested operation. System is running but is very old and will need replaced soon. Recommended replacement of system.
Service Call After Hours Fee- heat pump fault code flashing 3 times for high pressure lockout. Reset power to board and got system running. Outside temperature is 88 degrees, low side pressure is 150, high side 320. Sub cooling of 14. Condenser coil looks clean on the heat pump. Customer said they changed filters this morning and they were very dirty. Inside air handler looks good.
Service Call Platinum Client- Lennox system suction line and evaporator coil was frozen when I arrived. Checked filter and blower wheel to ensure we had proper airflow. After thawing out the coil I was able to determine the system was low on refrigerant. When I took the cap off the liquid line I heard it hiss. I tightened up both schrader cores in the valves. Added two lbs of r410a to the system. Changed out very weak capacitor(45+5 mfd) Customer had some questions of getting better cooling upstairs. We discussed possibilities of a zoning system or a ductless mini split system. They did not wish to have an estimate for those options at this time.
Anniversary maintenance check on 2021 Heil split system w/ AA413 filter. All checks good at this time. Had previous issue with a sound during shutoff of blower motor, Russ came out to adjust settings, all issues cleared up. Customer electing to wait on considering maintenance agreement plan for the future.
SUMP PUMP INSTALL
Service Call Platinum Client Installed LP Kit. Gas pressures will need set next maintenance due to the lines not being switched over yet. Turned gas off to prevent system running without pressures being set.
Service Call Platinum Client- system low on charge. Found connection at suction line by service valve leaking refrigerant. Pumped down system and repaired leak. Pulled vacuum and adjusted refrigerant charge. System is at a 13 degree sub-cooling.
Service Call Platinum Client- unit completely out of refrigerant. Hooked up nitrogen and found condenser coil with a leak. Unit is still under parts warranty but labor will not be covered. Ordering new condenser coil through Virginia air.
