Chris was great and i formative like hes done this all his life. Great person very friendly.
I appreciate how quickly the technicians were able to come to our house to check our furnace. They were very professional and polite. They gave options going forward and scheduled the person to come and talk to us about a new one. It all happened very quickly and we will get our new furnace on Monday. Thank you so much!
of course this happened on a weekend,we were happy he could be here as quick as he was. thank you
Super great service very professional l would recommend Fred to everyone.
I enjoy doing business with Grogg's and I trust their expertise.
For a company that answers their phone by saying, "How can we exceed your expectations?". they don't.
Performed owed cozy heating and cooling check. Everything looked good and operated as it should. Outdoor unit had an excess of built up lint on the fins. Washed off out door unit. Informed customer to keep an eye on it and to wash it off with a garden hose, not a pressure washer to avoid bending the fins. Customer will call back in to renew maintenance plan. Left quote. Confirmed operation of equipment.
Performed maintenance on equipment. Customer recently changed filters. recommend surge protection for system as I found contactor blackened from possible surge. Discussed comfort club renewal with customer and renewed for another year.
18 year old R-22 system with a bad compressor. Getting quotes on system replacement.
Performed maintenance on equipment. Customer recently changed filter and I recommended surge protection for system. Found no issues with the system at this time as everything was running properly. Left brochure with customer to look over as well.
Customer said system is not cooling. System is 30 years old and would like changed. Customer also wants surge protectors and duct cleaning.
Performed maintenance on equipment. Changed AA413 filter and recommended surge protection for equipment. Verified working status of REME Halo and condensate pump. All checks were good.
Ran a new stat wire from package unit to thermostat. Reattached 6” flex that was unhooked. Tested operation of cooling, heating, and auxiliary heating. All 3 settings confirmed operational. Recommend surge protectors on the out door unit. Also recommend a best duct cleaning when customer is done with remodel.
Customer stated heat was not working. Could not test system or stat due to a blown fuse that is not a normal one. Also some duc5 work is unhooked. Quoted repair for new stat wire, new fuse, reattaching 7” flex duct, and testing equipment. Equipment is from 2017.
Customer said furnace was not working. Found the main control board was bad. And also the inducer motor is bad. Due to age Parts were hard to find, but found them at Sid Harvey. Left a quote for repair. Customer is also going to get a quote for a new furnace. Cannot guarantee functionality of other furnace parts until main control board is replaced, which could potentially increase cost of repair. Recommend replacement due to age of furnace and uncertainty of operation. Furnace is from 2007.
All electrical checks good on ac and furnace. Cleaned outdoor coil with water hose. Checked indoor air filter. Cleaned flame sensor. Both surge protectors are working. No issues found. Customer did have an existing complaint on furnace operation when outdoor temperatures are 20 or below so may need to revisit these issues next cold snap or next winter.
Furnace working upon arrival. Customer said red light would flash 4 times when it wouldn’t work. Yellow light would flash sporadically when it was working. 4 red flash indicates ignition failure. Yellow light flash indicates poor flame sense. Pulled flame sensor, tested poor. Cleaned and retested, tested fine. watched for a heating cycle and saw no more issues or error codes. Informed customer of rust on burners and burner box. Performed combustion analysis and passed.
Ruud heat pump system has a blown fuse. Looked over system for a short. Repaired the orange wire at thermostat. Also found some wear on a wire in heat pump. Applied insulation tape to hole and wires to prevent further wear.
2005 Goodman furnace has a failing draft motor. Unit was in lockout. Reset system and got motor to run but it is really loud. Unit passed combustion analysis but co levels were a bit higher than usual. Unit is showing its age. Estimate repair cost is $700-900. Due to age of system I do not recommend repair. Customer is getting an estimate today 1-3 for new system.
