Noah came out this morning to look at my furnace which was making loud, unusual noises. It’s an older unit and I was concerned it was going to fail during this very cold time. He examined the components, checked thermostat and was able to quickly determine the issue. It was corrected and at a reasonable price. Recommend!

Upon arrival I found the system frozen up, system old and inefficient. I gave the client options and the decided to replacing the full system Thursday.
Upon arrival I found cap failure, heat/rust marks on compressor and fan, gave customer options. They are replacing a/c unit tomorrow.
I completed diagnostics and found the filter clean. It was just replaced, It was very dirty per customer. I found outdoor unit dirty and cleaned it. I found capacitor exploded, replaced. The system is low, system has a leak. I gave the customer options. The A/C is getting older, may want to consider replacement.
I completed a diagnostic call on a Carrier gas furnace and air conditioner. I made some adjustments to the system. Humidity still very high set up dehumidifier for 46% and overcook on. At this time all ok

I completed a diagnostic call on a Trane air conditioner. I replaced the PVC fitting that was leaking. Dehumidifier recommended to remove duct condensation.

I completed a diagnostic call on a Fedders air conditioner. I recommend that due to the age, condition and cost of repairs (seen and unseen) that the unit be replaced.
I completed a diagnostic call on a Carrier air conditioner. I found that the return drop has fallen from 10’ ceiling joist, drawing basement air and interfering with duct balance. Adjusted cooling airflow from thermostat MAX to EFF. Customer will keep us updated to see if that helped with the noise.

Upon completing a diagnostic on a Armstrong air conditioner, I found that the blower motor had failed as well as the bearing. The rotor is locked up and I cannot break it loose. Gave customer options. Replacing motor.
I completed a diagnostic call on a Lennox air conditioner. I found the outdoor unit covered in dirt and cleaned it. I then found that the capacitor has failed, I then replaced. Cycled, system now cooling.
