Excellent Service

Rodney is an exceptional technician! He diagnosed the issue, told me what needed to be done to fix the issue and the price beat the competition by hundreds of dollars ! And Rodney gave me a military discount! The job was completed the next day! Rodney arrived on time, explained to me again what he was gonna do and did a very clean job! I would definitely recommend Rodney and Hot 2 Cold for your heating and cooling service!

Upon arrival, I inspected the system and found that the supply was getting a temperature of 58 degrees. The static pressure was .3 inches of water column, and the return static pressure was .3 inches of water column. I also noticed that the customer had a 18x24 filter grill installed. Since I was not able to access the attic, I could not check the pressures in the system. I added refrigerant to the system and waited for 20 minutes to see if the system would cool down. However, the system continued to call for subcooling and superheating. I checked the pressures again and found that the system was still not cooling down. I added more refrigerant to the system and waited for another 20 minutes. The system continued to call for subcooling and superheating. I checked the pressures again and found that the system was still not cooling down. I decided to call the customer and explain the situation. I suggested that we check the refrigerant charge and see if there was a leak in the system. Th

I was called to a home to replace a fuse. When I arrived, I noticed that the fuse box was located in the basement. I opened the box and found that the fuse had blown. I replaced the fuse with a new one and tested it to make sure it was working properly. I then closed the box and made sure to clean up any debris that may have fallen during the process.

I was called to a home to inspect a home comfort system that was not cooling. Upon arrival, I found that the system was low on refrigerant and the air handler was not running. I inspected the air handler and found that the drain pan was full of water. I flushed the drain line with a vacuum and water hose to remove the water. I also checked the pressures and temperatures and found that everything was working correctly. I then paid the customer $1 for the service and received a card payment.

I arrived at the customer's home to perform a routine maintenance check on their air conditioning system. Upon arrival, I found that the system was cooling fine, with pressures and temperatures looking good. I also noticed that the system was draining properly. I checked the system's components, including the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and refrigerant levels, and found no issues. I performed a thorough cleaning of the air filters and evaporator coils to ensure optimal performance. I also checked the system's electrical connections and components for any signs of damage or wear. Finally, I provided the customer with a detailed report of my findings and recommendations for any necessary repairs or maintenance.

Upon arrival I found system not running. Customer said he hit the wires when cutting the grass. I repaired the wire and turned on the system and it kicked right on. System is cooling at the moment. Customer paid $205 with card for emergency. Per Wayne they will discount the emergency out of the unit when she decides to get it.

Upon arrival, found air handler running but has no operation from the condenser. Found my thermostat requesting condenser to turn on but the was no operation. Tested the capacitor and found that it had failed. Replaced capacitor and tested operation. Unit was calling as should and draining on its own.

Customer had us out to do a tuneup on her system. Upon investigation Troy found that the system was operating normally. Drain lines were cleared. And gauges were checked. Customers condenser was observed to be operating in normal condition. Did not obtain screenshot of sub cooling reaching 10.

Upon arrival i found that the thermostat wasnt powered on After investigating, i found that the overflow switch was triggered due to clog built up in drain line Flush and cleared drain line Tested operation of system and its cooling as should I found that the coil was pretty caked up with dirt and debris and the filter was the same way I recommended coil get a pull and clean to remove the dirt and debris built up for better cooling efficiency and better airflow across the coil
