Performed a heat tuneup on Carrier furnace. Checked heat operations, all components, and safeties. Found blower motor leaking oil and burnt spot on control board. Homeowner wasn’t available to talk to about system because she was at work.
Performed heat maintenance on 6 year old carrier gas/electric roof package unit. System was tripped on high limit due to high gas pressure when I arrived. Adjusted gas pressure back down to manufactures specs. Cleaned all furnace components. Tightened all electrical connections. Performed safety inspection, no breaches found. Contactor is burnt and pitted, recommend replacing. Tenant has asthma and other respiratory issues, recommend adding an Iwave air purifier for better indoor air quality. System is operational and heating at this time
Hung four new round diffusers. Need to order one more for laundry room. Also need to patch around corner of return grill. Don’t hint we need the drywall guy, but maybe some patching and painting.
System was only wired up to W2 I wired W1 and W2 checked system after repair system is operational at this time
Performed heating tuneup on York package unit. Duct work is hard pipe with R2-3 insulation. Also duct work isn’t properly sealed. All checks within specs and maintenances performed. System is operational at this time.
Found bad gas valve, dirty blower wheel, and inducer motor pulling high amps. Homeowner had to leave to go to a wedding so I told them I’ll call them on Monday morning to see what they decide to do so they can have time to think about it over the weekend.

Performed diagnostic on split Rheem. Found extremely dirty condenser coil causing compressor run amps to be at max. Washed and compressor amp draws lowered. Went over replacement options and sold Goodman system. Install set for 8/27-28.
Performed air conditioning tuneup on a Day and night split system. Found the system low on refrigerant. All other checks and components are within manufacturers specifications. Recommend adding R-410a refrigerant and membership.added 1.5 lbs of R-410a
Added 3 lbs of r22 refrigerant. To get system to proper superheat according to data plate. I could not find capacitor for the compressor or fan.
