Identified improper use of PVC piping on condensate line instead of clear vinyl tubing as the cause of leakage. Secured connection temporarily with clamp to prevent immediate leakage; will return to replace PVC with appropriate clear vinyl tubing if issue persists.
Repaired section of 2-inch cracked cast iron pipe in basement that had been physically damaged. Removed affected segment and replaced with new piping, ensuring proper connections and function was restored.
