We were out of town and my 19 year old daughter was home alone, of course this is when our heating and cooling system decides to stop working! I did the google thing and there is Hurlburt, called them and they sent a guy right over, done! I liked that the office lady said all of their technicians are drug and background checked since my daughter was home. We'll be using them in the future.

Everytime I've called they are able to come over pretty quick and fix our stuff. We joined they're club so they come 2 times a year to service our air conditioner and furnace. One time we did have a small issue but they came right back and made it right, thats all I ask.
Response from Hurlburt Heating & Plumbing:
Thanks for all your kind words. Glad we were able to complete your hvac repairs and get you on our maintenance program moving forward!
Pictures and notes taken for existing A/C condenser units
Furnace tuneup rusty vents are not from furnace could be high humidity issue or dog peeing issue not sure.
Call for no heat. Found failed thermostat batteries. Ran tests with new batteries and found no further issues with heating system. Rewired thermostat to operate with no batteries by wiring in common wire for thermostat power. Batteries will no longer be needed with Honeywell 4000 thermostat. Ran tests, system is operating properly upon completion of job. Thanks Mike. Note: Recommend joining Pat’s Heating and Cooling CCC Maintenance program to prolong equipment life and maintain equipment efficiency. Communicated with customer about CCC Maintenance program and approved. -Office to schedule AC maintenance in Spring of 2025 and Furnace in Fall of 2025.
Estimate: install 2 customer supplied shower valves, and run water line to fridge potentially.
We performed a AC clean and check. Replaced 20x25x4 filter owner supplied. Changed batteries in thermostat. Washed outdoor unit. Blower amps 3.21. Capacitor is 39.6/5.0 outdoor temp 34.
18x14 return, 21x20.50 supply, inducer motor failure, seized motor, unit from 2009, ac is older, name plate on ac worn and not readable, recommend replacement of both units rather than parts for repair, unit is turned off and not operational.
Upon arrival customer stated that the unit had been running smoothly for over a week since last repairs were completed and then last Wednesday it seemed to run longer and then it wouldn’t come on even after 1 hour of control calling for heat. She left it be and when she woke up this morning it was running but blowing cooler air. We arrived I checked error codes through remote and found none active and unit running. I checked delta t and had 74 return air and 78 supply air. I have a call into diakin tech support to get information about what the unit is capable of doing during outdoor temperatures below 40. If it’s refrigerant related we will need to return and do an extensive leak check but as of today all flare joints don’t have any oil around them. Will update once I get information from diakin.
Boiler leaking from joint. Need to come back to fix.
No heat. Found that the boiler had no water pressure due to a bad waterfall combo. I filled system with a hose for now to get it running.. the water I’ll combo will need to be replaced. I will send an estimate Monday for the repair. Unit is operational at this time.
I will email owners pricing system repairs, and have Dave quote them pricing for a mini split
1st trip-Finish demo of bathroom electrical. Rodney removed devices and fixtures and made the feeds safe. The actual demo was done today. Started cutting in all the new box locations and started pulling wire. I ran out of time due to an appointment I have but will be returning after my appointment to finish up the rough in. They have drywall coming tomorrow so it has to be ready. 2nd trip- pulled home runs to the panel through finished basement. Got the switch leg up in the attic but I don’t have the proper venting with me to connect the fan. I will have to do it on Monday when I come to trim out. Job is ready for dry wall repair tomorrow as scheduled.
04/15/25 Rob J II The customer called in because they had a water stain on the basement ceiling. We suspected the main floor guest bathroom tub, but we couldn’t verify it while running water. As we started cutting into the water spot on the basement ceiling below, water began to pour out. After cutting further back into the ceiling, we discovered that the tub overflow caused the leak.
