Performed diagnostic service on tubular heater in customer's barn that was non-operational. Inspection revealed pressure switch was stuck, preventing proper ignition. System is difficult to access, requiring ladder to reach overhead unit mounted in stable/equine facility. Discussed replacement options for barn heating units with customer. Also noted gas fireplace in house requires service, but was not addressed during this visit.
Conducted a comprehensive plumbing inspection of the property's water supply system and laundry room. Examined the water softener tank, copper and PVC piping configurations, pump assembly, and various connection points for proper function and integrity. Also verified working condition of the laundry appliances including washer, dryer, and utility sink with no issues identified requiring immediate attention.
Performed comprehensive furnace tune-up on 7-year-old unit as part of Family Rewards program. Verified safe combustion, solid electrical connections, and proper function of flame sensor and ignitor. Confirmed clear condensate lines, good amperage readings, and in-range capacitor values. System is operational and prepared for winter heating season.
