Performed comprehensive tune-up on two Lennox furnaces (3 and 4 years old). Verified proper function and safety parameters on both units including heat exchangers, combustion analysis, igniters, flame sensors, control boards, blower motors, draft motors, and capacitors - all components in good working condition. Replaced humidifier pad and identified improper wiring causing continuous operation regardless of blower status. Adjusted humidifier setting from 6 to 4 for more appropriate operation and advised client to monitor performance.
Responded to emergency service call for a 25-year-old 50-gallon natural gas water heater that had completely stopped functioning, resulting in no hot water. Upon inspection, determined the unit had reached end of life and was beyond repair. Presented repair and replacement options to customer, who needed to leave by 11:30 for a scheduled appointment.
Inspected customer-supplied faucet installation project and provided options for replacing two faucets with new stops. Evaluated existing plumbing configuration including garbage disposal connection and P-trap assemblies. Customer will consider the proposed options before scheduling the installation work.
Replaced hot and cold shutoffs under laundry tub. Replaced 3 other angle stops for toilets in house. Tested and no leaks.
