Full system install (180 flip) & water heater install
Customer had a “replace filter” reminder. Cleared and reset
Service professional arrived to provide an estimate for an unknown drain pipe. Upon arrival, the service professional was shown in the basement where water was seeping in through a crack in the floor as well as from the foundation. The service professional recommended that the homeowner find a foundation specialist and have an inspection of their drain tile. It is possible that the in floor drain pipe from the kitchen sink is contributing to the water seepage. No estimates given at this time.
Upon arrival spoke with customers daughter about current issues. Said heat has not been working since last night. Looked at thermostat and found stat set to off. Turned to heat and made sure set point was abouve inside temp (setpoint was 70° and current temp was 61°). Went to furnace, fired up right away, checked filter checked and adjusted gas pressures and made sure furnace kicked into high fire. Once high fire kicked in I turned furnace off and checked dip switches. Brought furnace back on and checked components to make sure everything was functioning normal. No further issues, only problem was thermostat was not set to heat.
Service professional came out to assess a leaking water heater. The water heater will need to be replaced. An estimate was provided. Homeowner mentioned the furnace and ac are older and they might want to replace at the same time.
Upon arrival found zone valve head bad motor was slipping and would not open valve properly. Replaced Erie pop top head and operation of the zone is normal.
Cleaned out soot. Electrodes spaced properly. Adjusted air shutters. Clean smoke test. Unit has to have yearly tune ups to keep warranty active and to keep unit running efficiently. Cycled. All ok
Furnace running, customer had fan set to on and was feeling room temperature air coming out of vents.
Had limit and flame sensor codes. Filter was replaced. I cleaned the flame sensor. Tested Ignitor. All good now.
Found a noisy blower motor. Part is ordered. Call to schedule when it arrives. Has heat for now, just noisy on start up and shutdown.
Upon arrival I found ignitor cracked. When I replaced the ignitor I found the circuit board not sending 24 volts to gas valve. When I recycled unit on to test again it would turn main fan on and not inducer. Replaced main circuit board and tested unit again and operation of the unit is normal. I cycled unit several times and tested other safeties and everything was good. We discussed new unit but they are potentially selling home soon and wanted to repair current system. Payment received
