CCC RTU tuneup. A/C Air conditioner preventive maintenance Replace filters, Check contactors and capacitors, check all motors including compressor. Check refrigerant charge and temps in system. Pull covers and clean condenser coil. All checks good at this time. Lennox Filter (4) 16x25x2 replaced Age of unit: 2013 Note, reinspected heat exchanger, still recommend replacing due to corrosion and improper combustion levels. Replaced heat exchanger under parts and labor warranty Successful testing System is operating properly after repairs ** Installed new owner-supplied filter - old filter was very high MERV rating and was very dirty - recommend using MERV 8 filters for best mix of airflow and filtration.
Arrived at call for water under furnace. Spoke with customers. Found plugged drain showing signs of heat exchanger wear and tear. Communicated with customer. Flushed drains and trap. Ran test furnace and unit is working at this time. Unit is coming to the end of its lifespan. Inducer still whining but working at this time. Found a failed heat exchanger. Installed a new EL297V Furnace.
Completed preventative maintenance. Unit works as it should at this time. Customer would like to go with a cellular kit and have it installed sooner than later.
