Attached are some estimates for full system replacement
🔧 Service Debrief (Short Version) Client reported heater not turning on. Inspected Coleman furnace (1993 model) — pilot would not light. Tested relays, power, transformer, and low voltage. Determined ignition assembly is faulty and needs replacement. Client also has a ground-level package unit (heat pump). System operates in both heat and cool modes. Replaced faulty thermostat with Honeywell 100, but system did not start. Further inspection found animal damage to ductwork and thermostat wiring. Discussed findings with client. Will follow up with estimate for duct repair and new thermostat wire.
Upon arrival client stated error codes and heater not working. Found error code 067.05 dome sensor. Checked dome sensor voltage from board and getting 3.2. Plugged in dome sensor and voltage spiked not within 3-5 volts dc. Tried multiple times as well as resetting. Need to order dome temperature sensor and return to install.
Arrived to diagnose non-functioning exterior lighting and to remove and replace five customer-supplied LED lights in the kitchen. After troubleshooting the exterior lights, I was able to activate them by taping the photocell. I advised the homeowners to monitor the exterior lights, as they should turn on automatically. The address light was not illuminating; upon testing, I found that the transformer was not providing the correct voltage. I replaced the transformer for the address light and also removed and replaced the five LED lights.
The technician performed a comprehensive assessment and executed the following tasks: the existing ductwork in the bedroom system was replaced with R8 flex ducting to enhance airflow significantly. Additionally, adjustments were made to improve air circulation in two hot guest rooms. The return duct in the living area was also replaced. Furthermore, a damper was installed to alleviate airflow in the kids' room, and an 18x24 filter return grille was installed to ensure optimal air quality and efficiency.
Pressurized system and opened coil. Found no leaks. Pulled vacuum on system. Recharged with 11 pounds of r410a to system s-5316 bedrooms. Signed up on yearly agreement. Found duct opened at plenum, sealed duct.
On arrival client informed me system was working Informed client system can’t be diagnosed if it’s working
Arrived at customer’s home to inspect panel for any safety concerns/ look at wire looped in panel. Found that romex looped in panel goes to spa disconnect panel on back corner of home. There is no spa or pool on property, so this must be a future planned feed that was abandoned for whatever reason. Informed customer of this information and cut wire back, capped it, and rolled it in pull section of panel to ensure panel closes properly.
Email quote to remove and reinstall furnace and coil.
Today’s annual heating maintenance consisted of one American standard system located in the attic access at first, began with ensuring both of the filters in the home have been replaced, and there is proper airflow, able to circulate back to the system at minimum resistance. I then make sure that the Honeywell thermostat is properly calling for heat and turning the unit on all of the heating sequence of operations have successfully checked out, verifying that the home is being warm to the proper temperature with a good temperature supply. I then cleared the condensation line via Jones valve to ensure that it is properly draining at this time of service. The amps on the system are checking out in the correct range verifying a controlled voltage is being used throughout the unit. Overall, this American standard unit is operating to the manufacture specs at this time of today’s heating preventative maintenance.
I Performed Maintenance on both the Heating Systems. Also replaced 2) 20x20 Filters. Both Heating Systems are 2022 and 2025 Heat Pump models located in the hallway attic and outside on the ground. I also checked ductless mini split for casita and unit is working properly. Both Heating Systems checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service. Scheduled next Maintenance visit online for Tuesday August 4th 2026 between 10-12 pm.
Performed a heating maintenance on a 90% efficiency, gas furnace. Equipment executed the sequence of operation in heating. Checked temperature heat rise and inspected evaporative coil for dirt and debris. Check static pressure and blower motor amp draw. Installed compressor saver kit – paid via C. C. System is heating the home at the time of maintenance.
Arrived to diagnose issues with malfunctioning low-voltage lights and a non-operational ceiling fan. I determined that the ceiling fan transmitter was faulty and needed replacement. After discussing the low-voltage lighting with the homeowner, I concluded that a defective dimmer was the cause. I replaced the ceiling fan transmitter, which restored the fan's operation. I also replaced the dimmer; however, the lights still did not turn on. To troubleshoot further, I bypassed the dimmer and connected the wires directly, but the lights remained unresponsive. I provided an estimate for an advanced diagnostic to identify and resolve the underlying issue. Additionally, I prepared an estimate for installing two outlets designated for TVs.
Performed a heating maintenance on 2025 American standard furnace, Filters located in hallway ceiling and dan, fau located in attic, attic access located in master bedroom closet, changed filter, flushed condensation line through jones valve, on fau followed sequence of operation, checked for amperage and voltage, checked for blower speed, check for any loose connections, check for temperature rise, everything within range also cleared dust accumulated inside electrical component. System is working within specification in heating at the time of maintenance.
2021 York ultra low NOx gas furnace had flash for hard lockout. After rebooting system has ran each time (5x) through full sequence of operations. System has pressure transducer similar to other models and manufacturers. Made sure tubing was unobstructed and all safeties and limits and pressure transducer plugs were in secure. If issue happens again would order pressure transducer.
