Today I arrived on site HeatPump System Inspection: Found the electrical connection port melted. Resolution: Need to replace the overheated electrical connection port on the HeatPump system. Upon arriving at the property, The client explained to me that the system is not working properly. The customer says he's not producing Heat. I proceeded to verify the tstats. The client has x4 tstats in different locations. The client showed me where the installed AHUS are. X2 Ducted units in the Attic. X1 Ducted unit on the 1st floor. X1 AHU in the basement. X1 condenser unit outside the house. I found the AHU without filters inside the units. Install the air filters in the AHUs. I did a visual inspection of the units. The AHUs are fine. I proceeded to check the condenser unit. I found the high voltage connection port melted. This caused the electrical cables to cut a circuit which caused the breakers to shoot.
