Came out to perform preventative maintenance on AC system. I was met at the front door and shown to the equipment. Discussed maintenance being provided today, filter needing changed and any current issues they are having. System just needed maintenance and the filter does need to be change, but no issues with the unit as of right now. I changed out the filter for customer. Inspected the blower assembly, motor, capacitor, other electrical components, evaporator coil, drain and overall condition of equipment. Noticed a good amount of heat coming into the closet from the attic. Ended up plugging a hole the thermostat wire goes through, just in case the thermostat may be picking up on any of the attic heat coming into the closet. Attic isn’t ventilated very well, just has breeze ways. Washed condenser coil thoroughly. Inspected condenser coil, compressor, fan motor, capacitor, contactor and electrical wiring.
