Great Technician

Very pleased with this technician's manner and work. Unlike tech last spring, he put on booties when he came into the house. Also cleaned filters which last tech did not. Spent much longer doing the work which leads me to believe last tech did very little during the spring maintenance.

Upon arrival tech was informed system was not cooling anymore. Tech found system completely void of Freon. Pressure tested with nitrogen and found leak on discharge line where it tees into condenser coil. Repaired leak and pressure tested system again with no further leaks. Pulled vacuum and charged system with 9lbs and 8oz of R410A. Tech attempted to adjust belt for blower motor but was to worn and had to replace with new belt. Tech installed 2-20x30x1 filters but will need to return with 2-20x30x2 filters. Performed full CMA at the end with no further challenges. System is back operating at this time.

PERFORMED CMA ON (3) SPLIT HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS. SYSTEM #3 EVAPORATOR COILS FROZEN. LEAK FOUND IN EVAPORATOR COIL PREVIOUSLY. SYSTEM #2 LOW ON CHARGE AS WELL DUE TO LEAK IN EVAPORATOR COIL FOUND PREVIOUSLY. SYSTEM #1 RUNNING PROPERLY. FIELD SUPERVISOR HAS ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED AND AWAITING APPROVAL.

Tech found system running heat in AC mode with 24v going to O at outdoor unit. Tech found reversing valve wire pulled off solenoid and reconnected the plug. System is now running properly.

Tech arrived and found thermostat blank, tech found shorted heat strip Contactor. Tech replaced under warranty. Tech spoke with customer about service agreement and she said she would talk to her husband.

Upon arrival tenants stated system makes a knocking noise and they have since turned the system off. Tech ran system from thermostat and did not notice any noises inside building. System cooled until reaching set point. No rooftop access in riser room. Tech used extension ladder to try and gain rooftop access. However, tech was unable to due to wind and rain. Tech informed Ms. Suzy. Will need to come back to inspect system on rooftop. Billing out for service call fee. Also need to get in contact with Ms. Suzy for CMA quote.

Found a failed dual run capacitor. System is under manufacturer warranty. Costumer approved replacing the dual run capacitor under manufacturer warranty price. Tech also educated the homeowner about our maintenance agreement programs and benefits. Costumer declined both yearly and monthly options for now. Supply temperature of 53 and return temperature of 71. System is back cooling.
