- Tech found thermostat displaying sensor issue upon arrival. Confirmed accurate temperature reading and noted thermostat programmed to use outdoor temperature sensor; with no temperature sensor equipped. Reset thermostat and programmed for 2 stage gas heat and 1 stage cool. System is operating normally at this time with no fault codes.

- Tech inspected Trane Package unit upon arrival, noting almost 2” of ice formation on the lineset and condenser coil. Ran system in cool mode to attempt de-icing for 15 minutes with no success. Confirmed heat strip operation and informed customer we will return at a later time to further diagnose, in addition to a second system that is not operating. - Tech installed a pre-supplied 12” tap collar on the square intake on the return plenum of the Goodman system. Flex duct is 10” and will need a 12>10” reducer installed upon revisit. Configured current assembly to operate until the reducer is installed. System operating normally.

Technician found 5amp fuse blown tech traced wires and found condenser thermostat wires damaged and old and brittle. Tech found 24v red wire shorted to cabinet. Tech recommend replacing 2 ft of thermostat wire. Ann approved over phone system is operating properly at this time.

Tech arrived and found system operating but no airflow through vents, tech found blower locked in place and hot. Tech got motor to start but recommended replacement due to excessive heat on bearings and multiple instances of issue. Customer approved ordering motor to return and replace. System is operating at this time.

Tech performed service on goodman package unit. As tech was megohm compressor, tested red then slowly followed to green. Tech recommended installation of hard start kit. Installed after customers approval. Delta t is within specification and customer is satisfied with today’s service. Found no other challenges at todays visit.

Technician found the same issue that happened the 9th happing 3 phase monitor was not lite up. Technician reset disconnect and found when put lever back up the it would not make good connection to allow proper voltage to phase monitor. Technician removed lever bracket and made good connection. Technician spoke with office they will send over a quote for replacing 3 phase disconnect.

Tech returned to replace defrost control board. Unit is back up and running and delta t is within specification at this time and customer is satisfied with todays service. All ok at this time. No challenges prior to install.

Split system Goodman heats office. Technician found em heat on thermostat. Once technician cycled heat compressor started up pressure were 92/330 with in specs on heating mode according to the data plate. Technician took temperature reading and found 100 out the 80 with compressor and 102 with aux heat. Technician inspected duct system found open return on the split in a closed tile ceiling. There is a return grill but it is not connected to the rerun box. Technician suspected system is not removing the air from the room only to ceiling tile and roof which is way colder. Technician inspected other package system that was frozen over and ensured defrost cycle system is operating properly at this time. They had another person come and look at it the night before and fixed the issue. System is operating properly at this time. Split system will require a 10 in collar to connect to return box and flex connector to grill. To allow air flow properly.

Technician found variable speed blower motor was not making good connection onto the stakon. Technician clean up the connector and blower kicked right on. Technician inspected system found compressor was engaged and heat strips was engaged as well due to being so cold in the house. Technician informed customer on findings he approved the cleaning up connection and also invested in premium plan. System is heating properly at this time.

Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Tech found compressor capacitor reading at 51/45. Tech replaced under warranty. Tech also found Evaporator coil showing signs of rust. Tech did a detailed leak search but could not find a consistent leak. Unit is heating and cooling efficiently.

No further issues at this time. No charge new install.
