Replaced blower motor and tested. Switched wiring to correct blower wheel rotation. System is cooling with a 14 degree delta t, coils are dirty and system is slightly low on refrigerant.

Tech found burnt fuse upon arrival, replaced and temporarily installed a fuse breaker to diagnose low voltage short. Found 2 LPCO wires making contact with suction line, causing an abrasion in wire casing, exposing copper wire. Repaired exposed section of wire and replaced tube fuse with 5A blade fuse. After running system for 15 mins, tech observed suction pressure was a little high (see photos) but superheat and subcool were not far off the mark. Advised customer to keep an eye on the system and let us know if it needs more attention.
Tech serviced and cleaned unit, system is back up and cooling with a delta t of 20+ degrees, tech found no challenges at today’s visit, customer would like office to call her on Monday about replacing ductwork.

Some hardware missing at condenser and panels not secured properly. -Found evaporator coil and drain pan highly dirty. Observed water below drain pan in blower/electrical compartment. Drain pan highly dirty and has some water in it. Suspect drain pan may be overfilling and activating float switch during heavy load. Customer approved cleaning of drain pan. -Recommend maintenance be done on system to clean evaporator coil, properly reassemble outdoor unit, and address any condensation issues.
FOUND PVC COUPLING HAD COME LOOSE UNDERNEATH INSULATION CAUSING WATER TO DRIP NEAR DOOR WHERE DRAIN LINE EXITS. NO DAMAGE DONE BASEMENT IS CONCRETE. GLUED FITTINGS AND TESTED DRAINAGE WITH NO FURTHER CHALLENGES. WARRANTY.
