Tech washed and serviced unit per service agreement, upon arrival tech tested compressor and found compressor testing in the caution, tech recommended hard start kit customer approved at today’s visit, tech found no other challenges at this time, system is back up and running and holding a delta t of 18 degrees
Emailed proposal to replace downstairs duct system. Customer is going to speak with her husband and she will let us know their decision this afternoon or tomorrow.
Replaced 20’ of 10” flex crossover duct. Invested in ESA (1) system. Schedule 1st visit. Thermostat wall is separated from framing. This could be causing false temperature readings on thermostat due to no insulation. Unable to contact Mr. Greene to make aware, but asked customers mother to let him know. Airflow is now within specs.
Customer stated front part of mobile home not cooling properly. Tech was unable to get inside home to fully inspect system, but found 10” crossover duct line has collapsed internally and has water soaked into insulation causing airflow restriction. 20’ of 10” duct line will need replacement. Spoke with Mrs. Greene via phone. They will call in when decision is made. Built estimate. Customers mother paid for todays visit.
