Ricardo did a relatively quick and efficient maintenance check on my heating and air conditioning unit, pronounced it fit and ready to maintain temperature in my home, and even did a thorough cleaning on the unit. I found him to be intelligent, attentive, and soft spoken, all very desirable qualities in one so young. He helps renew an old man's faith in the new generation!

I called on Sunday afternoon to leave a message and was very thankful to talk with an actual person. She took my information and forwarded to weekend technician; he called me within 10 minutes and stated he could go to the residence immediately. I was very appreciative of this service due to extreme temperatures. Once he determined the problem, he called to report the findings. Permission was given by phone to repair the unit.

Tech returned to replace compressor. Recovered all refrigerant from system, removed existing compressor and filter drier. Purged lines with nitrogen, added acid away to new compressor. Brazed in new filter drier and compressor, pressure tested system. System passed pressure test, evacuated system to 500 microns. Passed decay test, charge system with 5lbs 4oz of R410A per manufacturer spec. System is back up and running. Collected $2,300.26 by card, customer invested in ESA plan for one year two visits.
Upon arrival tech found tripped 20 amp breaker for compressor. Tech reset breaker and breaker immediately tripped again. Tech found failed compressor, verified with megohmeter and meter. Tech spoke with Ms. Alicia via phone and quoted $2.184.48 plus tax warranty price for compressor replacement. Also quoted $298.00 plus tax for annual maintenance agreement providing a 15% discount on repair bill, $330 in savings. Customer approved repair, need to order compressor. Collected $87.00 plus tax by card. Customer did not invest in service agreement at this time.
Tech performed ESA on 2 systems. Tech found no challenges or concerns with system(s)/operations of system(s). All tests tested well. Dehumidifier is properly draining, filter not needed to be changed this visit. Tech recommended adding at attic tent to attic access, thermostat is directly below access and heat is being pulled out of attic into home, along with contaminants from insulation. Homeowner is interested but not purchasing today. Both systems are operating properly upon departure. Customer extended PSA via check 8087
Tech replaced all filters. Inspected six split systems. Tech found Rheem AHU 4 above cooler goes to Rheem outdoor unit 2. This unit uses R22. Tstat is in front right of store. Indoor coil is very rusty. See picture. Did not pick up R22 leaks. System is cooling.
Performed ESA, homeowner extended PSA. Discussed plasma air, wants to hold off for right now.
Upon arrival tech was informed system was not running at all. Tech inspected system and found breaker for the AC was tripped. Tech cycled breaker and tried to run system and it tripped again. Tech inspected compressor and it mega ohm bad. Tech tried to set up mandatory lead but homeowner want to get a second opinion first and would call us afterwards. System is 15 years old and R22. System was left with breakers turned off.
Tech washed and serviced unit and found evap coil rusted and corroded but found no leaks at this time tech found no other chaat this time.
PERFORMED PRE-BUY INSPECTION ON (1) AMERICAN STANDARD SPLIT HEAT PUMP ZONE SYSTEM. NO CHALLENGES FOUND SYSTEM IS OPERATING PROPERLY IN HEATING/COOLING. RECOMMEND MAINTENANCE SYSTEM NEEDS CLEANING. COLLECTED FOR TODAYS VISIT FROM REALTOR.
