Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Upon arrival tech found water spicket leaking water. Tech informed customer about plumbing department. Customer would like a plumber to come out and fix the water spicket. Tech found evaporator coil to be severely rusted. Tech did a detailed leak search but could not find any consistent leaks. Tech faced no other challenges. Unit is heating and cooling efficiently. Tech recommends media filter but customer declined because he wants to take care of the plumbing repair first.

Provided quote for new heat pump customer invested in new system
Technician was informed of burning smell. Once technician removed door panel and found excessive oil build up on compressor as well as compressor shorted to ground causing heat strips to run excessively. Field supervisor is on site.
Tech performed service on carrier package unit. Delta t is within specification and customer is satisfied with today’s service. Found no challenges at today’s visit.
Provided quote to replace it and duct system
Technician found 35/5 mfd capacitor had failed causing the compressor not run. Upon further inspection technician found heat strips wire was burnt at the stakon connection. Tech also found top fuse link was busted and not allowing voltage through. Tech noticed the 2 pole contactor for compressor was dark and pitted and will require replacing. Tech quoted out repair cost and customer stated they had to get 2 quotes for Indian committee. Technician did inform customer that tech can not guarantee how long system will last with repairs done due to age and condition of the system. Technician recommended replacing field supervisor is to come give quote out when available.
Bad gas valve LP gas State water heater And thermostat couple
Tech found thermostat not allowing aux heat with outdoor temp above 25 degrees. A heat pump will not be able to keep up at 30 degrees outdoor temp without aux heat. Tech adjusted the setting to 70 and auxiliary heat kicked in. Tech found supply temp increased from 76 to 102. System is heating properly.
