Tech returned to replace room temp thermistor at mini split, replaced and tested in heat and cool mode. System is operating properly.
Apon arrival tech found thermostat to be blank tech found blown 3 amp fuse tech check all low voltage wires and found no rub through spots tech found loose wire nut on O thermostat connection believes wire to have came loose and arched and caused the short tech re tightened wire and replaced fuse no further challenges unit is up and running. No charge per maintenance performed day prior.
Tech washed and serviced unit per service agreement, upon inspection tech found duel run capacitor testing above spec on compressor side, tech notified customer and will keep an eye on it, tech found no other challenges at today’s visit, the system is back up and running and holding a delta t of 20 degrees upon departure, will need to return with 1 20x25x1 filter
Tech washed and serviced unit per service agreement, tech found duel run capacitor to be testing weak on compressor and fan side, tech recommended replacement of capacitor customer approved, customer also extended ESA agreement, tech found no other challenges with the system at today’s visit, the system is back up and running and holding a delta t of 20+ degrees upon departure
Tech performed esa on one system, tech noticed excessive bacterial growth in blower compartment and covering evaporator coil. Tech recommended installation of plasma and uv light system and customer approved, all is good with system after installation and completion of service.

Customer says system will not cool since maintenance a few days ago. Tech found broken spade terminal on reversing valve making a poor connection causing system to run in heating mode when calling for cooling. Tech repaired loose connection under service warranty. System is operating properly. Customer approved replacing broken drain trap.
