Upon arrival tech found condensing unit not running, tech found a 24v call at condensing unit as well as high voltage. Tech found failed 30/5 MFD dual run capacitor. Recommended replacing, quoted $302.21 plus tax. Customer approved. Tech installed and tested, compressor was in an internal overload. Tech cooled compressor, after cooling system came on properly. Amp draws are within spec, system back up and cooling. Tech collected $415.48 by check. Tech used non stock capacitor.
Tech returned to replace auxiliary drain pan. Tech removed existing pan and lifted air handler to install new pan. Tech placed foam blocks to support and level air handler. Tech tied drains back into air handler and assured proper drainage. Customer invested in a premium service agreement. Tech collected $1,966.32 by card for repair and service agreement. Need to call and schedule first maintenance visit.
Tech found thermostat reading 78 degrees and set to 70, tech diagnosed system and found low pressure cut out has failed, tech spoke with office to get field supervisor out, Bryce has since arrived and taken over.
Tech performed ESA on system. Tech performed all major checks and everything checked out good. Evap coil is rusty but no leaks, compressor megaohmed good. Capacitors within specs. Homeowner pleased with work today. Burners all fired up good as well. Tech used (1) 20x30x1 filter.
Tech performed ESA on system, tech noticed drain was partially clogged, tech flushed and poured water down drain to ensure proper drainage. All tests tested fine. System is running properly at this time.
Upon arrival, homeowner not home. Homeowner chimed in through doorbell. Tech performed ESA and found no challenges. All tests tested well and system cleaned inside and outside. Tech unable to check crawlspace on todays visit. Tech unable to check Delta T today as well. Tech left (1) 16x20x1 filter at front door.
Tech performed ESA on system. Homeowner unable to be home during maintenance. Tech pulled and cleaned blower, badly caked up with fungus and bacterias. All electrical tests tested fine. Tech unable to power on burners from thermostat to verify working correctly. Tech unable to check Delta T. Crawlspace in excellent condition. System should be operating properly at this time. All major tests tested well also. Homeowner did not answer phone when called for renewal, but tech left filters by door and recorded videos talking and showing homeowner system opened up. Tech recommended plasma pure air. Homeowner can decide when he gets back home from work. Homeowner called back as tech was almost finished, tech informed homeowner, homeowner would like to be billed out for PSA agreement.
Upon arrival tech found capacitor wired incorrectly, condensor fan motor has now failed. Tech did not have a 1/4-1/8 HP 825RPM motor on truck to replace with. Scheduled to come back out tomorrow and replace motor.
Upon arrival tech found primary drain line clogged at upstairs system air handler. Tech cleared drain line and reset primary float switch. Tech also removed water from auxiliary drain pan. Tech added algae tablets to primary pan and cleaned pan. System is draining properly, tech also cut excess pvc line outside. No charge per agreement and office.
Upon arrival tech found thermostat blank at office system. Tech found float switch tripped at air handler above drop down ceiling. Drain line is very short leading into condensate pump. Tech cleared drain line and reset primary float switch. System is now draining properly and back up and cooling. Billing out for repairs.
Tech performed ESA on system. Tech found no challenges. System is running properly at this time. Tech double checked drain line to ensure it’s very clear. Tech used (2) 20x20x1 filters.
