System started up in cool mode with a loud humming noise during every start up. Noise was detected at the airhandler. Indoor blower motor was hot to the touch and over amping. Capacitor checked out good, compressor megged on the the green. 2007 90% furnace. Blower Motor has failed. Tech spoke with the homeowners about the findings and would like to receive a system replacement quote due to its age and high repair costs. Tech did mention that we offer worry free warranty as well. System is currently down. Told the homeowner to turn off the system to let the motor cool down and attempted to turn it on to get it to cool down some until our field supervisor can provide a solution. Costumer invested into MPA.
