Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Tech faced no challenges this visit. Unit is heating and cooling. Tech recommends getting on maintenance plan. Customer approved PSA plan.
— Tech found 6” flex that serves the front foyer of the home disconnected from its boot and reconnected with double straps to prevent reoccurrence. — Removed deceased bird from the condenser fan grate and confirmed proper operation. — Confirmed all other ducts are firmly secured. System is operating normally at this time. No charge under contractor warranty.

Tech replaced thermostat and cycled heat and AC. System is heating properly at this time.
Insulation on line voltage wires from disconnect to air handler was not in fitting all the way. Moved disconnect down to get insulation into fitting and resecured disconnect to 2x4. See before and after pictures.
Tech washed and serviced units per service agreement, tech found no challenges at today’s visit, tech was un able to get inside home per customer request, tech left filters for customer, both systems are back up and running upon departure
Customer stated heat will sometimes stay on once thermostat satisfies. They stated it has happened 2 times in 3 weeks. Tech found normal heat cycles but suspects a failed sequencer. Tech also quoted replacing the thermostat as that is another likely cause. Customer would like to see if it does it again before making a repair.
Tech arrived and found system not running, after inspection tech found high voltage plug loose on blower motor tech plugged in fully system is now operating properly at this time.
Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Tech found evaporator coil to be severely rusted but could not find any consistent leaks. Tech faced no other challenges this visit. Unit is heating and cooling efficiently. Tech recommends plasma air to reduce bacteria build up and improve air quality. Customer declined.
Tech replaced a 40/5 dual run capacitor under warranty per office.
Dust stated the system randomly stops producing heat at random times, tech did notice the thermostat not engaging the system to operate when it was either set to cool or heat even after a 5 minute delay. Tech removed the thermostat off the wall, inspected it and secured it back to the wall and now the thermostat makes an immediate call for heat or cool. Heat strip amp draw is good, delta T is good. Tech recommends replacing a faulty thermostat. Tech attempted to contact eagles properties to provide a quote and was unsuccessful. Estimate will be sent along with today’s invoice. Filter was replaced due to being dirty/partially clogged, which may contribute into lack of airflow which causes the limit switch to open and stop producing heat at times.
Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Customer has a media filter and will need to be changed next visit (put in September 2024) Tech found compressor capacitor reading at 44/40. Tech could not replace this trip due to not having a 40 mfd capacitor on the truck. Unit is heating and cooling efficiently. Customer renewed PSA plan.
