Excellent Service

Kenny C. did everything to determine the cause of why the breaker in the main panel for the furnace was going off after a short time the HVAC system was running. It was clear that the HVAC system was running correctly and he took pictures that proved it. The breaker for the compressor was not tripping and feeds to the breaker at the main panel, so it is obvious that the breaker at the main panel needs to be replaced. Although I wish he could have replaced the breaker, I understand why and will call a licensed electrician to replace the breaker. I am thankful that I have the pictures to prove the situation with the electrician.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time. Customer had concerns about od fan louder than normal tech adjusted cond grates with foam to prevent raddle.

Tech found circle iq on thermostat to sunroom. Technician also was informed service system notification was on. Tech cleared notification and found circle with iq is RoomIQ a portal due to having a sensor connected to thermostat. Tech also checked system in sunroom and found the vents are to the right of the door way and the return is also to the right and sensor is to the left not allowing air to circulate properly. Tech suspects system is cooling the best it can but is not circulating air to allow sensor to detect properly.

Tech called out field supervisor to verify. Tech was unable to check delta t due blower not operating. Customer invested in PSA Renewal.

Performed ESA on all 5 systems. Home has an add on that was recently added and has 3 more systems. Tech only serviced 5 that were original to home. Homeowner stated unit # 3 of the add on was not keeping up and displayed 2 error messages on thermostat. After further inspection of unit, tech found schrader valve on true suction line was extremely loose causing a refrigerant leak. Tech also examined error code that was displayed on thermostat and stated batteries on temperature sensor that is located in sun room have died and will need to be replaced. Tech tighten loose schrader valve and added 4lbs of R410A. System is 2yrs old, no other issues found with unit #3. Other 5 systems, tech cleaned and serviced, tech highly recommends adding hard start kits on all 5 systems to protect the compressor. Especially the 2 older ones. Tech also swapped out all filters inside home. All 8 systems are on and cooling/heating. Tech tried getting in contact with Mr. Jones but was not successful, left voi

Tech found inducer motor blades rusted off the wheel. Inducer assembly will have to be replaced. Tech also found smut outside the exhaust with LP gas. Tech suspects Conversion kit may not have been installed, once inducer motor is replaced, gas pressure needs to be checked. Tech also recommended ESA. Customer does not want to move forward with repair.
