Chris was great, respectful and knowledgeable. He was even sweet with our dogs who wouldn’t stop barking. Excellent job - thank you!
Aidan was thorough, skilled, patient and generous with his knowledge in troubleshooting and communicating the probable issue and applying a potential solution. Also he was genuinely enjoyable to interact and communicate with.
Audonel was exceptional! He and the guy working with him were nice, professional, and they really made short work out of the install.
Bryce was very knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all my questions.
Your company is very lucky to have Kenneth Chandler as an employee. I was very impressed with his ability to troubleshoot to find and fix the problem faster than I expected and on a holiday!!! Super polite and all around great guy!! Hope we have no more problems but if we do my wife and I hope we get him again!!
Josh patiently answered my naive questions, diagnosed the problem and applied a temporary fix.
#13 Heat exchanger was found patched with tape, heat exchanger has multiple holes. Tech spoke with bridgett about the findings and recommend to have our field supervisor provide a solution for to the cost of repairs and potential part availability on a 2000 model r22 system. Repairs were not performed today due to more challenges.
System #10-2 is off at the disconnect, missing the whole blower assembly and blower motor. System 10-1 has a bad ignition control board, spark ignitor and a small crack at the end of the heat exchanger. System #7- has the gas shut off and found a cracked heat exchanger. System just had a compressor replaced. Pictures uploaded on file. Findings were informed to Bridgett over the phone and advised for our field supervisor to provide a solution. Systems are down for now.
Tech arrived and found thermostat turned off, tech cut system on and found that gas heat would not come on, tech found unit in 4 flash fault for tripped limit. Tech performed inspection and found that heat exchanger has multiple cracks. Tech called in for field supervisor. Mike will be out at 12. System is down at this time.
Tech preformed preventative maintenance and serviced both the upstairs and downstairs systems. Tech found blower capacitor on upstairs system to be failing. Tech recommended replacement capacitor. Customer did not invest in replacement capacitor at this time. Tech found heat exchanger to be cracked and compressor to ohm in the red on the downstairs system. Customer has to leave to return to work and tech will notify field supervisor to give customer a call. Both systems are up and running with a delta t of 20.
Tech found thermostat not sending w signal. Tech pulled thermostat plate off and found plate was not sitting properly on the backplate. Once thermostat plate was on, tech could see thermostat was set to off. Tech turned thermostat on and found system heating properly. System is 26 years old and in poor condition, tech informed customer that it is time to start thinking about replacement. Tech verified heat exchangers are not cracked. Customer has a carbon monoxide detector and is showing 0 ppm. System is heating at this time.
Remove Existing 15 Ton Trane Rooftop Package Unit And New Install New Trane 15 Ton Rooftop Package Unit With WiFi Programmable Thermostat
Tech arrived and found system in two flash fault for ignition failure, tech found line air locked itself. Tech purged out air. System is now back on and operating properly at this time. No charge due to recent esa visit.
Tech preformed preventative maintenance and serviced system. Tech found evaporator coil to have microbial growth. Tech recommended UV light kit to help prevent microbial growth and enhance indoor air quality. Customer invested in UV light kit. System is up and running with a delta t of 21.
Upon arrival tech began inspecting tripped breaker for AH #2 and found the red wire going into the breaker at the disconnect was loose and easily pulled out from under screw as well as some burnt marks on it. Tech removed wire, cut it back and secured it to breaker. Turned system back on and began heating again with no further challenges.
Upon arrival tech was informed thermostat was replaced a few months ago but now the system is blowing ac in heat mode. Tech found gas package system programmed as heat pump. Reprogram thermostat and system began heating correctly. Tech did notice system was not heating as good as it should be. Suspects its due to lots of rust build up in heat exchanger, also found heavy rust on evaporator coil. Contacted office and have field supervisor coming out to quote replacement. System is back heating at this time.
Upon arrival tech was informed that upstairs system was not heating. Inspected system and found breaker for AH #2 tripped in attic. Tech visually inspected air handler and did not find any issues, reset breaker and system came back on. Checked amp draws for heat strips and outdoor system and all within specs. System ran for entire visit and did not have any challenges. Tech also inspected HP #1 and found it was heating but not very well due to being low on Freon. System is 16 years old and R22 Freon and does not recommend making any repairs but to replace. Spoke with office and have Field Supervisor coming out.
Kitchen unit….removed failed duct detector and installed new duct detector. Replaced fuses in disconnect for air handler to 30 amp. Tested detector and it passed. Wired in to cut indoor fan off when alarmed. Need to return with 35 or 30 amp 3 pole bolt in breaker for condenser. In main panel outside by laundry room. Returned on 11/27 and installed a fusible disconnect on kitchen unit condenser. Installed 35 amp fuses in disconnect. Ready to inspect.
- Tech performed leak searches on systems #1, #6, and #8. Tech did not observe any leaks at this time. Pressures are reading (#3) 125.6/284.4, (#6) 116.4/256.0, (#8) 113.7/254.8. Confirmed clean filters, evaporator coil and clean air filters. Observed no abnormal cooling operation during this visit or ice formation. - Tech found cracked heat exchangers in all 3 systems and are not safe to operate in heating mode. Advised Bridgett Creech and left power off to all 3 systems until heat exchangers are replaced. - Office will provide estimates for replacing heat exchangers.
