Didn’t meet Wayne myself but my wife thought he was amazing! She said she has never been so pleased with anyone she’s ever dealt with in the service industry! She doesn’t throw around compliments lightly so it’s well deserved. 10/10

Tech washed and serviced unit and found fan cap testing weak tech informed customer on findings and found no other challenges at this time. Customer renewed PSA 1 sys.
Upon arrival tech gave system a call for heat at thermostat and monitored system operation. Refrigerant pressures, amp draws and all electrical components tested within spec at condenser. No airflow issues, amp draws also within spec at air handler. Tech cycled power on and off to system several times to try and duplicate issue but could not. System is heating properly, stated to call if issue happens again.
- Tech found 6 flash (open pressure switch) fault code upon arrival and reset for testing. Cleaned pressure switch inlet and flushed tubing. - Cleaned burners and adjusted low stage natural gas pressure from 1.95” WC to 1.75” WC. - Observed draft inducer overheating when energized for second stage and shutting down, opening the pressure switch and short cycling. Ignition control board is intermittently allocating 240 volts to inducer and should also be replaced. Customer approved warranty price to replace the draft inducer assembly and the ignition control board. - Customer is interested in upgrading service agreement to the premium plan when renewal is due. - Removed W2 from the circuit to only allow W1 operation to preserve the draft inducer until replaced. System operating normally in first stage at this time.
Upon arrival tech found thermostat satisfied at 72 degrees. Ran system and found heat pump and heat strips operating properly. Found plastic fence around unit with leaves against condenser coil causing airflow restriction. Recommend removing fence, brushed leaves. Also found both air filters inside dirty. Recommended replacing. System is heating properly.
Tech returned to drop off 24x24x1 filter

- Tech found failed hot surface igniter upon arrival. Advised customer no guarantee of long term operation considering age and condition of the furnace and recommended a full system replacement. Also recommended replacing the whole burner assembly on account of corrosion. Customer opted to only replace the igniter. - Tech replaced igniter and observed very low gas pressure. Gas valve was set to natural gas pressure at 3.02. Converted gas valve to LP and set pressures to 11.17/9.37. - Recommended premium service agreement; customer will inform office of decision. System is operating normally at this time.
Tech preformed preventative maintenance and serviced system. Tech found no challenges at this time. System is up and running with a delta t of 36.
Found limit switch failed at gas pack, replaced and tested. Did not have correct sized switch on truck. Will need to return with smaller switch or uni bit to drill mount hole bigger. Left switch off truck in unit through mount hole to get system running. Will need to return with new switch as customer approved estimate.
Install custom filter grill
- Tech replaced failed ignition control board and confirmed proper operation. - Checked natural gas pressure reading 5.47/3.43 in second stage. - Advised customer that the compressor was reading in the caution zone during previous service visit. - Previous tech inspected the heat exchanger and found no concern. Advised customer that the system is aged and the warranty is expired - if any major repairs are needed, tech recommends replacing the system. - Sprayed insect repellent inside and around the package unit per customer request. Confirmed clean air filter and blower operation. - Draft inducer is drawing 0.34 amps in second stage. Customer inquired about lifespan - tech advised all components have the potential to fail at any time on account of age. - Tech recommended opening all the doors to circulate air. System is operating normally at this time. Collected check.
Tech washed and serviced unit. Upon arrival customer explained a burnt smell they had smelled a while ago, office couldn’t send anyone out and reccomended vacuuming return. Customer has not smelt burnt smell but reccomended media filter to keep build up from returning. Tech also reccomended replacing UV bulb. Customer not interested. Unit is operating properly holding a delta T of 19. Customer requested another 24x24x1 be dropped off.
Tech found an ignition control board not sending 240V to the inducer motor. Tech found a cockroach on the back of the ignition board right where the inducer motor powers up from. Board is faulty and would need to be replaced. Customer approved ordering the ignition control board. Customer requested to expedite it if possible due to health conditions.
