Replaced breaker for upstairs air handler and condenser. 50 amp in main panel for air handler and 30 amp for condenser in disconnect. Filter grill will not work in the return hole. Need to come back with a 30x42 flat transfer type grill.
Tech washed and serviced unit per service agreement, tech found no challenges while servicing system at today’s visit, the system is back up and running and holding a delta t of 20+ degrees
Install Carrier 3 Ton Heat Pump With Air Coil With (2) Plasma Air With WiFi Programmable Thermostat
Upon arrival found furnace showing 4 flash fault code for open limit. Tested limit switches found all closed indicating faulty ignition control board. Fault codes present instantly after cycling power without attempting to light also indicating faulty board. After cycling power several times control board intermittently worked and flame ignited. Found flame to be smooth until blower is energized flame begins to flicker orange and system shuts down indicating faulty heat exchanger. 21 year old system. Handed over to field supervisor. Shut gas off to system.
Tech arrived and found capacitors jumpers burnt in half and heat strip wire burnt not allowing both heat strips to come on. Tech repaired all burnt wires and installed surge protection after approval, all capacitors tested good system is now operating properly.
Tech washed and cleaned system there was an electrical issue and was not able to get temperatures or amps or anything will need to come back after issue is fixed, customer contacted Wayne electric to fix problem
Whole house is back up pull septic tank lid it is full Replace leak gate valve on main water line
Found extreme sud on the last burner and also on the orfice. Tech cleaned out the burners and unclogged the orfice, tested heat afterwards. System is back heating. Tech did recommend the customer to upgrade her membership to premium and also recommended to replace the 3 inshot burners due to extreme corrosion. Customer only wanted to upgrade the membership to premium and approved today’s repairs.system is back heating. Customer had a $25 off coupon.
Dug out under duct work and fixed drain line for air handler in the attic
Tech performed service on trane package unit. Homeowner was not home at the time. Tech talked over phone with customer. Customer did not renew maintenance plan, said will hold off. Delta t is within specification. Found no other challenges at todays visit.
Tech performed service on trane package unit. Recommend installation of Plasma Air to help aid bacterial growth on indoor blower and improve indoor air quality. Customer declined at this time. Tech preformed preventative maintenance and serviced both the upstairs and downstairs systems. Tech found UV Bulb to be blown in downstairs system and recommended replacing. Tech also recommended UV light for upstairs system. Customer would like to wait to replace UV Bulb and install UV Kit at this time. Both systems are up and running with a delta t of 18 and 23
Last visit 7.5 capacitor was reading 6.9. Tech confirmed capacitor is reading 6.879uf. Customer approved blower capacitor replacement. Blower is pulling 1.0 amps with new capacitor. Found no further issues at AHU. Compressor capacitor was reading 32.21uf last visit which is 7.9% weak. Replaced capacitor. Compressor megged green. Tech will test again next visit.
