Randy did a great job in servicing our HVAC systems for the spring and summer season. He took great effort in explaining his work and the state of our HVAC systems. Thanks, Randy!
Very impressed with service work Randy Kuhnau on our two systems. Request that he make future service calls for us.
Ben did a a very thorough job in servicing our HVAC systems yesterday
Impressed with the service work performed by Byrce to our HVAC systems. And Bryce was very informative in providing information on the condition of our systems. Would like for Bryce to come back on future service calls. Thanks.
System #5 Replaced a braze-in high pressure switch and Biflow filter dryer while flowing nitrogen, that was diagnosed by a previous tech, Pressure tested to 300psi. Pulled vacuum below 500 microns. Wired up the pressure switch back in its circuit as it was, factory Charged system with 11lbs of R410a. System is back up and cooling. Repairs were pre-approved.
Lobby and front office unit is #1 that was recently installed. Customer is not having issues with unit #2. The challenge with #1 was Honeywell vision pro following an undesired schedule. Tech changed install setup to “non- programmable.” New install Trane system #1 is cooling. They reported that the system not cooling is system #5 for kitchen and laundry. Tech found indoor unit blowing air, but outdoor unit not running. Tech found high pressure switch stuck open. Tech found outdoor fan blade sitting very low on fan motor shaft and fan blade spinning below the round discharge air fan oriface in top panel. Motor shaft looks like blade has slid down shaft. There is a groove where set screw rubbed motor shaft. Tech bypassed high pressure switch and recorded refrigerant pressures before and after adjusting fan blade. Tech securely tightened set screw to motor shaft after adjustment. System is back cooling after adjusting fan blade and bypassing high pressure cutout switch. Tech billed fo
Added condensate EZ Trap to IDU-10, 8, per prior approval. Replaced heat strip contactor on IDU-9 per prior approval. Replaced outdoor fan motor capacitor on ODU-1, 5, 10 per prior approval. Heat strips still in need of replacement on IDU-9 air handler. System may need further diagnosis now that contactor has been replaced. Identified problem with ODU-5 condenser not coming on when called by thermostat or manually jumper at unit. Demand tech to be dispatched for further diagnosis.
FOUND EVAPORATOR COIL COMPLETELY FROZEN UPON ARRIVAL. ALLOWED TO THAW/TESTED DAMPER MOTORS NO CHALLENGES. HAD MULTIPLE HITS WITH LEAK DETECTOR AT CORRODED/RUSTED AREAS OF EVAPORATOR COIL. BRYCE IS HEADED ON SITE.
Tech performed ESA on 1 system found no issues at today’s visit, system working properly at this time. Customer was concerned with ducts tech inspected ducts with no issues.
Performed cma full service on 12 split systems. Performed inspection of oven hood and make up air. Found fan capacitor on HP-1 tested weak. Provided estimate for replacement of capacitor $196.98. Found fan capacitor on HP-5 tested weak. Provided estimate for replacement of capacitor $200.50. Found compressor capacitor tested weak on HP-10. Provided estimate for replacement of capacitor $211.77. AH-1 evaporator coil leak present. Found duct work poorly insulated and sealed. System over 10 years old, recommend estimate for replacement of system. Found excessive buildup on evaporator coil on AH-4B (kitchen). Cleaned multiple times. Found extreme buildup on evaporator coil on AH-4A. Recommend more frequent replacement of air filter. Recommend installing air filters on return grilles. Found thermostat 10 off upon arrival. Found blown 5A low voltage fuse in air handler. Replaced fuse. Unit currently operating correctly. Found heat strip contactor on AH-9 severely corroded and not pr
