Tech performed CMA inspection on 21 split systems, 1 mini split, and 1 package unit. All systems are operating in heat mode at this time, however tech left system 14 condenser off due to previously found faults. Tech has attached system performance reports to this invoice.
Tech performed ESA on 1 system found no challenges at this visit, recommended surge protection customer declined. Tech showed customer how to connect google nest t stat to phone customer uses own filters.
Tech found a low voltage short in the G circuit. Tech found an AC/DC adaptor going to an air quality monitoring that had continuity to ground was tied to the G circuit. Tech took the monitor out of the circuit and found system running properly. System is now running properly. We will have to quote out replacing the monitor if they choose to have it replaced.
Tech replaced hood on package unit. Removed existing hood and installed new, secured tightly and sealed around hood with silicone. Also replaced UV bulb, collected $621.53 by card.
Inspection on a TRANE heat pump, changed filters, cleared drain trap, checked belt, checked capacitor and motor amps.
Performed a full service on 3 Trane units, Carrier AC, ICP gas package unit, changed filters, checked capacitors, motor amps, belts, cleared traps, cleaned units, washed coils. Emptied aux pan of debris in Elec room.
Tech found furnace 1 pressure switch error due to an inducer assembly completely rusted out as well as heat exchangers in poor condition.. Unit is 31 years old and recommended replacement. Tech found furnace 2 receiving gas on the inlet side of the gas valve, but no gas on the outlet side with 24v at the valve. Gas valve would need to be replaced
RETURNED TO REPLACE INDUCER MOTOR. ORIGINAL WHEEL IS RUSTED AND CANNOT BE REMOVED FROM SHAFT. ONLY MOTOR WAS SENT FROM MANUFACTURER. SPOKE WITH JERRY WE WILL BE RETURNING WITH FULL INDUCER ASSEMBLY.
Tech found aux switch tripped due to drain clogged tech cleared drain line with nitrogen
Tech found unit 3 kitchen unit was tripping breaker. tech reset breaker it automatically tripped again. tech found compressor was shorted to ground causing breaker to trip. Tech spoke with Richard and he was concerned on the unit he was in the middle of something and informed technician he will go find out all information he needs then give us a call back. He is aware of compressor being shorted to ground unit is left off. Compressor to be priced by office.
