Electric issue outside unit

My outside kept kicking off or not coming on when inside fan started up. Jansen came out on Father's Day(extra fee for Sunday) . the tech was professional, courteous and explained problem and what he needed to do. Came inside several times, each time putting on footies and a mask, fixed my electric connections(3 out of 4 were compromised) on my 25 yr old unit. Great experience. Working fine after a couple of days now. I would highly recommend Jansen heating and Air.

Great service!

Tom was very professional & personable. He was willing to diagnose & fix my problem within an hour on a Friday night. He explained exactly what he was doing and taught me better maintenance practices to help my system last longer. He wasn’t the cheapest quote, but he was the first of seven different companies who said he would be here within the hour.

Customer stated AC was showing same issue as last call. I cycled system several times and found high amp draw on startup indicating the age and condition of the compressor causing circuit breaker to trip. Inspected all wire connections to ensure none are loose. Installed hard start kit which corrected the issue. System now starts with 20a reading and runs at 10a. Advised customer to begin planning for system replacement. Everything is otherwise operating normally at this time. Billed as service call back.

Everything is operating normally at this time. Informed customer that blown fuse may have been the result of a power surge.
