Found system low on charge we have already added stop leak to the system last year reccomended customer replace the system customer wanted to add more stop leak and charge to the system, explained that stop leak is a one time use fix and will not work again customer wanted system charged with the understanding that charge will leak back out and we will not be responsible for loss. Balanced system reccomend customer have heat pump heating check done once weather permits.

Performed clean and check on gas furnace noted buttons on thermostat are beginning to stick, cleaned flame sensor tested and inspected all electrical components and controls and found a weak blower capacitor performed combustion analysis of the system. Recomeneded that customer have thermostat and capacitor replaced. Customer wanted to speak to husband before deciding and will call if they want replacement they are aware that a service charge will be applied upon installation of parts.

Set a.c. for cooling contactor was not receiving command voltage tracked voltage to a high pressure switch with manual reset. Though switch was open manual reset had not engaged bypassed switch and cycled the system. Found no issue with the system informed customer that h.p. switch and relay is faulty and we could need track down a replacement which may take sometime due to the age of the a.c. though it is not necesarry to operate the system.

Performed winter maintenance, cycled all equipment, ran all tests needed, tested all safety devices, changed oil filter and nozzle, found unit to be working within specification, all operations ok at this time. Tank is still dripping oil, customer is going to replace system soon so I explained that if they kept up with the oil leak until they decided to buy the new system it would be ok.

Found bad capacitor which was located near where wiring had been burnt at last service capacitor had tested fine but burnt wiring may have degraded the the capacitor treated as warranty only charged for capacitor replaced cycled system Checked amp draw all is normal at this time. Send invoice for last service and this service.

Customer had replaced the low voltage fuse and corrected the system but wanted a winter cnc performed Carrier furnace clean and check found a weak blower capacitor and a weak hot surface ignitor recommended replacement. Customer declined purchase of recommended items

Replaced split capacitor on a.c. cycled a.c. system and confirmed proper operation performed winter maintenance on Williamson gas furnace replaced filter and humidfier pad supplied by the customer. Oiled motor checked belt tested and inspected all electrical components all operations are normal at this time.
