Performed clean and check on AC system. Cleaned condenser coil, checked refrigerant pressures and subcooling, tested and inspected all electrical components and blower motor assembly, measured delta-T and checked filter. Tested t-stat operations and cycled system in cooling. Everything is operating normally at this time. However due to the age and condition of the system I advised customer to begin planning for system replacement soon. Customer paid by check
Found Goodman Electric Fan Coil had some rewiring done incorrectly with the wrong transformer installed. Fixed wiring removed transformer that was burned up due to wrong voltage size, tested existing transformer in unit which was still good so I wired unit up properly. Replaced a low voltage fuse that had been blown. Cycled unit it's working properly. Also checked heat pump for reason why it's not working, Found unit out of r410a quoted customer to fill system and find the leak (not including repair price ) on top of today's cost. Customer choose to just fix the electric heat for not. Everything is operational at this time.
