The work was scheduled as part of my home warranty with American Home Shield (AHS). I had a water heater replaced. The employees were all very nice from the office to the workmen who did a very nice job of replacing the tank.The negative is that I was taken advantage of on the items that were excluded from the warranty, particularly with regard to the plumbing permit. AHS allows up to $175 for permit fees. The actual cost of a permit is $53, yet I was charged the whole $175, 3 times the cost. More than that, A PERMIT WAS NEVER PULLED! A pure money grab. I wanted the tank replaced, so I paid the excessive fees, but I am not happy.
