Fixed the errors of the original installer. Now the furnace breaths much better. I can tell by the sound and the air volume from the registers.

I serviced a residential split-system air conditioner today. Cleaned the condenser coils using eco-friendly Nu-Calgon foaming coil cleaner. Replaced the capacitor and contactor on the condensing unit. Evacuated the system with a NAVAC vacuum pump, then recharged with R-410A refrigerant to factory specifications. Unit now operating efficiently.
Today, I conducted comprehensive HVAC maintenance on a Carrier Infinity System. Tasks included replacing the MERV 16 air filter, testing thermostat functionality, and inspecting the heat exchanger for integrity. This routine service ensures system reliability and efficiency throughout the year.
I just unclogged and repaired a severely blocked kitchen sink drain. Upon arrival, I used a handheld auger to dislodge the clog deep in the drain pipe. When that failed, I deployed a motorized drain snake with a closed-core cable to power through the obstruction. After clearing the stoppage, I inspected the pipes with a borescope camera. Several pipe joints showed cracks, so I replaced those sections with new PVC piping and no-hub couplings. Finally, I snaked the drain again to ensure proper flow before departing.
This morning, I completed HVAC maintenance on a Trane XR16 system. I replaced the capacitor and cleaned the condenser coils using a non-acidic foaming cleaner to ensure efficient operation and prolong equipment lifespan.
Found leak on main water line. I utilized ban saw and cut galvanized water line. I then mega pressed 3/4 mega press fitting to a male shark bite coupling. I then plumbed in new water line with PEX to existing line and ensured line was no longer leaking.
For this job, the customer was having problems with their dishwasher tripping the breaker. When I arrive at the customers house, the breaker was turned off, so I proceeded to checked for voltage when I’d turned the breaker on. I had gotten 125v and 7.5amps. So I had the dishwasher turned on and it ran for about 10 minute. Then it tripped the breaker. I did checked the wiring underneath the dish washer but I didn’t find any wire damage. I did noticed burnt smell coming from the dishwasher. The washer failed to come back on, and I could not keep the breaker on without getting tripped. My recommendations for the customer is to install a new dishwasher. By time they order a new motor for it. It would be the same price of installing a new one. As of right now, the customer does not have a dishwasher. It is condemned. I did charged a diagnostic fee and if they have us to install a new dishwasher, I told the customer it will go towards that bill.
Removed all old venting and replaced with metal vent pipe. this will be able to cleaned in the future. After the installation, I did not find any issues with the dryer vent. Dryer vents should be cleaned every 1 to 2 years.
For this job, I took the old toilet out and installed the new toilet system. After the installation, I checked the operation of the toilet and found to be working in normal condition. I also did not find any leaks. Toilet is working in normal operation
For this job, the customer was having problem with his hot water side, not working on his kitchen sink. So I proceeded to check the cartridge and I was not able to take the cartridge out. So I recommended to the customer having a new kitchen sink and after I show him the estimate, he approved the company installing a new Sink we had at the office. So I Installed a chrome kitchen faucet without spray, including a thorough check of all shutoffs under the sink, as well as connecting water supply lines and drainage. After the installation, I checked the operation of the kitchen sink and did not find any issues with it. The customer is working in normal operation The customer also wanted to renew his maintenance program with us, I had added $279 to the kitchen faucet installation.
Changed out blower motor and tested it. Supply is undersized, customer does not want a price currently to fix it, they will look into fixing it when the system is replaced
