My existing AprilAire humidifier was old and not working. The service technician recommended replacing with a new AprilAire 700. The tech did a professional and very neat installation. However the humidity in my house did not change at all. I waited a few days and called to report no change in the humidity. The tech came out and changed the settings. Now one week later there has been no change in the humidity. I even purchased a second humidistat and placed it far from my thermostat to see if there were different readings. No such luck. So far I am very disappointed
