This was the 4th year we have experienced the problems associated with our A/C system, originally installed by Kappler in '07. Every year we have called to have a technician check out the system, but the underlying problems were never identified - every checkout ended with "everything is working just fine!" Only it wasn't. Josh was the first technician to (1) listen to my description of the symptoms of our issues, ask intelligent and probing questions from those issues, and then (2) proceed to check out control and software functions associated with the perceived issues. In less than one hour he had diagnosed the underlying problems (a failed expansion valve, incorrectly set DIP switches, possible low coolest, and other problems), located a replacement valve, and arranged to return the next day (Friday the 7th) to repair the system. He returned on Friday and although it took him several hours of hard, technical effort, he managed to completely resolve the issues and left us after a period of trial run of the repaired system with an A/C system that was working like it had when first installed. After the frustrations of the prior years that failed to fix the problem(s), it was incredibly satisfying and a major relief to have had the services of someone so knowledgable and detailed, not to mention the validation of finding out that our problems were not of our imagination as we were told frequently in the past, but were in fact the result of serious system failures and incorrect settings.
