I completed diagnostics and found the system has a broken low voltage wire above finished ceiling in basement. I explained at this time I am unable to run to wire without causing extensive drywall damage. The office will call for senior tech to return. The system is not cooling, blower motor is operational.

I completed diagnostics and found the blower motor stopped and started and stopped working again. I verified 5mfd cap reading 4.8mfd, with in standards. There is high resistance on blower shaft. I explained blower motor has failed and went over repair/ replacement options. The customer opted to replace the furnace.

I arrived to perform a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon inspection, I found system was off. I replaced furnace filter with customers own. I called for cooling, found R-22 pressures low. I then explained repair/ replace options. Customer opted to A/C replace Monday.

I completed diagnostics and found the system completely empty of refrigerant. Due to age and presence of a refrigerant leak, as well as cost of repairs would consider replacing. Property owner was not here on my visit and the person who met me here will relay this information to him and he will give us a call if he is interested in an estimate.
