I completed a Full Install of a Carrier Electric Furnace FX4D (Up to 100,000 BTU) Honeywell T10 Programmable Thermostat Carrier 14 SEER Heat Pump 25HCE4 (Up to 3 ton) The system is operational upon departure.
I completed diagnostics and spoke to the customer and she stated tstat will not shut ac off once it reaches set point. I found that the contactor is not sticking. I found pressures that indicate the system is over charged. I explained to customers mom who sounded very confused about what’s going on. I explained there is nothing happing at this moment so issue must be intermittent. I offered to replaced tstat for $99 plus call fee and the customer approved. The system is operational in heating and cooling at departure.
I installed a Five Star 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace 3T 17" and a Five Star 13 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner. These new systems replaced a Lennox gas furnace and air conditioner. Both new systems were fully operational upon departure.

I found the inducer motor had completely failed. I presented the repair and replace options to the customer and they decided to replace the system. Unit not operational on departure per inducer motor failing.
