I completed the diagnostic and found there was currently no filter in, and I suggested to replace asap, 20x25x1”. I found HP capacitor failed for the compressor. I replaced, with customers permission, the two caps 40 + 5 with a turbo. I verified the system has a proper charge, The system cooling on departure.
I completed a Full Install of a Five Star 96% Gas Furnace (Up to 100,000 BTU) Honeywell T6 Programmable Thermostat/Emerson 1F85U Five Star 16 SEER Air Conditioner (Up to 3 ton). The system is operational upon departure.
I arrived to perform a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon inspection, I found system was off. Customer stated a/c is not responding at all. Called for cooling, no response. I noticed the light on the control board was not visible from sight glass. Found the safety disconnect on the furnace must've become loose, causing no response. I secured furnace doors, system now operational. Verified system charge, proper charge at this time. System cooling on departure.
I arrived to perform a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon inspection, I found system was off. Customer stated they seemed to have very little air flow, found A-Coil still approximately 40% frozen. I turned the blower on to help thaw coil, waited for coil to thaw per customers are seniors. System is low on charge, explained repair/ replace options, customer opted to replace. I added 1# R22 to system for cooling until install.
Client requested an estimate to replace a Westinghouse electric furnace and heat pump. I recommend replacing it with a Five Star Multi-Speed 2.5 Ton Electric Furnace / Fan and a Five Star 14 SEER 2.5 Ton Heat Pump. Included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.

Upon arrival the customer had roto-rooter in drive way when I arrived, roto-rooter suggested that she had an hvac company look at it. The PVC was broke in the drywall somewhere from the main drain in the closet. Not related. I did not charge for trip, she will be calling us in the future
