- clean and flush condensate drain line - Install PVC drain trap outside - replace in-line drain cleaner cartridge - replace 24 V contactor - Replaced dual run capacitor - 10% discount No cooling and outdoor unit making loud noise. Upon arrival found float switch tripped due to clogged drain, cleared out drain line at no charge. Contactor making a loud buzzing sound and chattering, which was the cause of the noise, also found weak capacitor, in-line drain cleaner cartridge needs to be changed, and drain line was buried underneath the dirt. Gave client solutions for issues with system. Client chose to go ahead and fix all issues. Cut back drain and installed a P-trap above the ground, replaced in-line drain filter cartridge, replaced capacitor, and replaced contactor. Cycled and tested system, all operations OK at this time. Need to call and schedule tuneup ASAP for this client.
No cooling on bedroom unit. Outer unit is running, but the blower is not. Displaying EL01 error code which means communication error. Talked with tech-support, had to set DIP switch setting on SW1 switch 4 to on instead of off. Reset system and cycled unit. All operations OK at this time.
Client having issues with rodents in attic chewing through ductwork. Client said they are going to have an exterminator out next week to get rid of the rodent issue. After further inspection of ductwork found that kitchen supply run is fully compromised with multiple holes in it from rodents, also the bathroom supply has a few tears in it, which need to be patched up in the foil section of flex. Also recommended that the ductwork needs to be cleaned and sanitized to get any loose insulation out from inside ductwork. Advised client to have air purifier installed to help with allergies and viruses in home as well as a UV Light Inside air handler. Client chose to just move forward with the ductwork repairs and duct cleaning at this time. Scheduled to come out on December 31. To replace 6 inch kitchen flex run, patch up 5 inch bathroom flex run, do a duct cleaning on 8 supplies, 1 return, and sanitize all ductwork. Client will be paying 50% deposit either tomorrow or Monday.
No cooling, indoor fan and outdoor fan are running, but the compressor is not. Did a complete evaluation of AC system. Noticed several duct runs in attic leaking air and biological growth buildup around duct connections in air handler. Found blown dual run capacitor outside, which was tied into a second capacitor for the fan as well as hard start kit, which was not working properly. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is 7 years old and recommended replacing ductwork as well as AC system due to age and condition. Client just wanted to do the immediate repair for now. Eliminated the secondary run capacitor and installed a dual run capacitor to take care of the compressor and condenser fan. Replaced hard start assist. Cycled and tested system, all operations OK at this time. Client signed up for monthly membership. Office needs to contact client to schedule first maintenance.
Scheduled to come out tomorrow, December 19 to install customer supplied range hood and re-pipe with 20 feet of 28 gauge 6 inch round pipe, install range hood termination outside above patio, holes will need to be cut in sheet rock to run piping need to schedule Omar to come out to patch holes and repaint after work is completed
No heat, system blowing out cold air. Heat pump is running in cooling mode. All thermostats are configured for heat pump, however, the zone panel is never set up for heat pump system. Reconfigured three zone panel to operate heat pump. Cycled and tested each zone, all operations OK at this time
Replaced 2 thermostats with ecobee. Programmed and set up thermostats. Cycled heat and AC, all operations OK at this time. Offered client annual membership, client is currently under contract with another company. If they are able to cancel their membership with the other company, they will call us back to sign up for our annual membership.
Gave client estimate for quarterly maintenance, refrigerant leak search, and condenser clean. Client needs to get approval before moving forward. They will give us a call if work is approved to schedule maintenance and repairs.
Gave client options to replace ductwork or do duct cleaning on all ductwork. Client is having mold mediation company removing mold from home and AC system got compromised. Need to remove air handler and replace all return Plenum insulation because it got saturated with water from AC drain. Gave client options on correcting issues. Client chose to do duck cleaning with new air purifier and two new UV lights. Also removing air handler and relining return Plenum box as well as pulling the evaporator coil out and chemically cleaning it. Doing work next week on Tuesday, December 23. Office is going to call client for deposit.
Client wants to replace thermostats with ecobee. Client approved quotes on thermostat replacement. Scheduled to return on Wednesday, December 17 between 8-10 to install new ecobee thermostats.
Gave client estimate to repair a 14 inch supply duct that was damaged by cat that got into attic. Need to do some sheet rock repairs as well and possibly install an air purifier. Client getting two other estimates tomorrow and will get back to us either way.

Performed tuneup on AC system. Cleaned indoor and outdoor coils, flushed drain line, inspected blower wheel, checked temperatures, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major and minor electrical components. Found biological growth buildup on evaporator coil and on blower wheel, and compressor had high startup amps gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is 5 years old and client may want to replace system versus spinning that kind of money on repairing it. Client wants to follow up in a week, all operations OK at this time.
