Fast and professional service

Replacing heat pump system in 24 hours is definitely not a small task. But Stan made sure that it was done professionaly. He did not pressure us into buying the most expensive system; he just explained available options and differences between them. Professional, Competent, Quick & Available on a Holiday!

I found Stan through a Nest thermostat tech support specialist who was looking for a technician to fix my setup so I could have heat again. Stan arrived when he said he would, texting and calling ahead. He seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC systems in general, but specifically knew about smart programmable thermostats like Nest, which is not a skill that all HVAC pros have, not by a long shot. He diagnosed the problem within minutes. He spoke w/Nest agent on the phone to explain things and answer questions, and he filled out a detailed invoice as required by the company for reimbursing costs. Great service.

Solved the problem

During terrible cold wave noticed that heat was not cycling on at regular intervals. It would heat up the house then go off for up to 10 hours before going back on. I called Modern Air and Stan came out the same day, identified the issue, and fixed it. He is very knowledgeable and good at what he does and will be my HVAC person going forward.

Looking to hire a HVAC company.

Awesome service & workmanship. I was like you looking at reviews to hire someone to replace our heater and AC units but didn't know who to hire. I did my due diligence in researching companies and getting several estimates. Stan showed up on time for the estimate, gave me his thoughts, information and an estimate to make a decisions. In the height of a heat wave, Modern Air responded quickly to my needs. My air conditioning unit ceased blowing cold air. The modern air team was able to diagnose and correct the issue. Later in the evening I was experiencing a strange behavior with my unit again, Modern Air (Stan) came that evening again to ensure the problem was resolved.
