Replacing heat pump system in 24 hours is definitely not a small task. But Stan made sure that it was done professionaly. I found Stan through a Nest thermostat tech support specialist who was looking for a technician to fix my setup so I could have heat again. Stan arrived when he said he would, texting and calling ahead. He seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC systems in general, but specifically knew about smart programmable thermostats like Nest, which is not a skill that all HVAC pros have, not by a long shot. He diagnosed the problem within minutes. He spoke w/Nest agent on the phone to explain things and answer questions, and he filled out a detailed invoice as required by the company for reimbursing costs. Great service.

During terrible cold wave noticed that heat was not cycling on at regular intervals. It would heat up the house then go off for up to 10 hours before going back on. In the height of a heat wave, Modern Air responded quickly to my needs. My air conditioning unit ceased blowing cold air. The modern air team was able to diagnose and correct the issue. Just wrapped up an inspection on six furnaces at a multi-unit property in Philadelphia, PA 19144. On Unit 1, we found a rattling gas valve that stopped after resetting the gas control. Also noted minor water drips on the heat exchanger. All other systems were checked for safe and proper operation to prepare for the heating season.
Performed certified backflow testing in King of Prussia, PA. The backflow prevention device passed inspection, but a small leak was found at the pipe joints.
