Replacing heat pump system in 24 hours is definitely not a small task. But Stan made sure that it was done professionaly. I found Stan through a Nest thermostat tech support specialist who was looking for a technician to fix my setup so I could have heat again. Stan arrived when he said he would, texting and calling ahead. He seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC systems in general, but specifically knew about smart programmable thermostats like Nest, which is not a skill that all HVAC pros have, not by a long shot. He diagnosed the problem within minutes. He spoke w/Nest agent on the phone to explain things and answer questions, and he filled out a detailed invoice as required by the company for reimbursing costs. Great service.

During terrible cold wave noticed that heat was not cycling on at regular intervals. It would heat up the house then go off for up to 10 hours before going back on. In the height of a heat wave, Modern Air responded quickly to my needs. My air conditioning unit ceased blowing cold air. The modern air team was able to diagnose and correct the issue. Conducted a no-heat call service at a rental property in Philadelphia, PA 19111. The system was running but producing no airflow, even after a handyman had already checked it earlier in the week. After diagnosing the equipment, we found a failed gas valve that needs to be replaced and are currently awaiting the owner’s approval to move forward with the repair.
Stopped by a rental home in Philadelphia, PA 19144 after the tenant reported that only one of the five radiators was heating properly, even after trying a power cycle. With the colder weather settling in, we found the source of the uneven heat distribution was a faulty thermostat wire, which we repaired to restore consistent heating throughout the home.
