I found Stan through a Nest thermostat tech support specialist who was looking for a technician to fix my setup so I could have heat again. Stan arrived when he said he would, texting and calling ahead. He seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC systems in general, but specifically knew about smart programmable thermostats like Nest, which is not a skill that all HVAC pros have, not by a long shot. He diagnosed the problem within minutes. During terrible cold wave noticed that heat was not cycling on at regular intervals. It would heat up the house then go off for up to 10 hours before going back on.
