Replacing heat pump system in 24 hours is definitely not a small task. But Stan made sure that it was done professionaly. I found Stan through a Nest thermostat tech support specialist who was looking for a technician to fix my setup so I could have heat again. Stan arrived when he said he would, texting and calling ahead. He seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC systems in general, but specifically knew about smart programmable thermostats like Nest, which is not a skill that all HVAC pros have, not by a long shot. He diagnosed the problem within minutes. He spoke w/Nest agent on the phone to explain things and answer questions, and he filled out a detailed invoice as required by the company for reimbursing costs. Great service.

During terrible cold wave noticed that heat was not cycling on at regular intervals. It would heat up the house then go off for up to 10 hours before going back on. Responded to a service call from a customer in Elkins Park, PA 19027, whose recently installed HVAC system triggered a ‘service urgent’ alert on the thermostat for the GF low-pressure switch open, code 272. The unit was running but not producing heat and making unusual noises, with intermittent issues over the past few weeks. During the inspection, we found water collected around the inducer motor. We removed, drained, and cleaned the condensation line to restore proper operation. We also discovered the blower wheel was unbalanced due to a piece of paper and insulation that had entered the unit during a recent duct cleaning by another company, causing the shaking. After removing the debris and properly balancing the blower, the system started operating normally. Addressing these issues promptly prevented potential damage to the blower motor and wheel, and the HVAC is now heating safely and efficiently for the home.
