In Black Canyon City, near East Slaton Road and Nasty Basin Trail performing a diagnostic on a leaking unit. Upon arrival, found filter missing at return. Indoor evaporative coil is extremely restricted. This is causing unit to freeze over. In addition, water coming from return is due to a restricted drain line. As well as the passageway from coil is filled up from build up at coil.
In Black Canyon City, AZ: DIAGNOSTIC- Upon arrival, cycled unit into cooling mode. System became operational. Homeowner had temperature set high causing the thermostat not to call for cooling. Thermostat went into some scheduling or homeowner set temp too high. Went over system. Checked Freon levels, capacitors, and volts/amp draws. Upon departure, unit is working properly and within manufacturer specifications. Service complete.
In Black Canyon City, AZ: DIAGNOSTIC- Upon arrival spoke with customer system can not get below 82 during the heat of the day. Cycled system. Checked output temperatures. Supply temperatures at 58 degrees from soffit but only 72 degrees at supplies in living. Inspected attic unit and ducting. Supply to living is jumped from soffit which is getting little to no air. There is a flex run in between coil and furnace that is in poor condition. Insulation in attic is very poor as well and home still has upducts spread throughout home that are 105-110 degrees. Recommend upsizing system to a 4 ton running new return and supply ducting. Insulating attic. Pending pricing reach out to gm during service call. Service complete.

In Black Canyon City, AZ: PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE- Opened evap. Cooler pads are very calcified. Pan has an inch of calcium in it. Cleaned out wet section, cleaned pump and basket and basket is in bad condition. Recommend new pump basket and new pads. Pump is also weak from all the calcium. Service complete.

Checked Freon levels with super heat and subcool. Checked start and run capacitor. Upon departure, unit working properly and within manufacturer specifications.
In Black Canyon City, AZ: Found condenser not turning on. Upon further inspection, found wires burnt and capacitor swollen and bad; installed new 55/440 capacitor and rewired the system. Also, contactor is bad; installed new 115 volt contactor. Cycled system back on; all working proper and Freon levels are good. Unit is working properly upon departure.

In Black Canyon City, AZ: Found indoor blower not turning on; checked motor; was very hot and locked up. Installed new 3/4 horse 1075 blower motor with new 20/440 capacitor and new three prong motor mount.

Everything working properly and within manufacturer specs. Homeowner stated it smelled and felt like heat was running. If problem reoccurs, recommend replacing reversing valve.
In Black Canyon City, AZ: Upon arrival found disconnect melted to system. Replaced box and tested system. Removed 2 year old pleaded filter and replaced with new filter. System is not showing any signs of failure. Disconnect melting was most likely due to outlet being used connected to box.
UPON ARRIVAL TO THIS HOME IN BLACK CANTON CITY, AZ i REPLACED 20x20 INTAKE FILTER. CYCLED SYSTEM. FOUND UNIT LOW ON CHARGE, 82/160 psig. INSPECTED SYSTEM FOR VISIBLE LEAKS. INDOOR COIL IS HEAVILY WORN. WOULD RECOMMEND REPAIRING LEAK WHEN LOOKING OVER PREVIOUS WORK WE RECOMMENDED HAVING LEAK REPAIRED IN 2018 AS WELL.
In Black Canyon City on a break down. Found that the run capacitor was swollen and the contactor was burnt and wouldn't let the high voltage turn system on. Replaced the parts, cycled system, tested voltage and AMP draws. System is back up and cooling!
In Black Canyon City on a breakdown for a new customer with a Goodman straight cool system. I was able to get the unit all fixed up and was able to warranty out his parts!
