I found water leaking around the Carrier gas furnace and found that the braze joint needs repaired. I added puron to the piston air conditioning system and will return to complete braze repair. System is operating and cooling at time of departure.
I completed diagnostics and spoke to customer who tried to install new ECOBEE stats on main and upper floors. It didn’t go as planned. He put old thermostats back on wall and the AC would not operate. I installed both ECOBEES for customer. All is good. The system is operational upon departure.
I completed a diagnostic I found the blower motor has failed. I ordered the part for the customer.
I completed a full install on a Five Star 96% gas furnace and a Carrier 16 SEER 4 ton air conditioner. I cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Included with the installation is a free 1 year service maintenance agreement.
I completed a callback service and found the high pressure switch open, the switch is faulty. I replaced the switch and the AC coil. System operational upon departure.
I completed a diagnostic and found pressures to be low. I added 2 pounds of Freon. System cooling upon departure.
I completed diagnostics and found the condenser coil 100% restricted. I used the customers water hose to clean unit. It took me 30 minutes to properly clean condenser coil. The Ac unit was more than likely tripping pressure switch from dirty coil. The system is operational upon departure.
I completed a diagnostic and found the capacitor bad on the outdoor unit. I cleaned the outdoor unit with a water hose. I cleaned the mechanicals. Unit is cooling upon departure.
I completed a diagnostic. I found breaker to the furnace at generator off. I turned it on. System now operating but not cooling, almost completely out of Freon. I sent a quote for a new system.
I completed the scheduled maintenance agreement cooling tune up on a Carrier 16 SEER air conditioner. I visually inspected the unit. Checked voltages, amps and pressures. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored system. All operating normally at this time.
I completed a callback install. I found the copper line set is making a harmonic sound. Going to have install department install line set trap.
I completed a diagnostic I found the AC unit completely out of Freon. Customer is having a new unit going in.
I completed a diagnostic and I found the ICP evap coil was installed side ways. I am sending quote to fix this.
I completed a half install on a Carrier 13 SEER 2.5 ton air conditioner. I cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Include with the installation is a free 1 year scheduled maintenance agreement.
