Great Service, High Quality

Kyle was our technician who did our yearly maintenance on our HVAC system. He was punctual and very friendly. He also was very efficient with his inspection while being very thorough. We have always been very happy and impressed with our service from Nice!

Fireplace Isssue Solved

Fredy analyzed problem of fireplace pilot light and flame going out. Problem was fan set too high. He lowered fan speed and problem appears to have been solved.

Upon arrival customer explained that upstairs system would not maintain set point. Performed thorough evaluation of entire system. Found air filters very dirty and in need of immediate replacement. System only producing 13° temp split. System charge low on R22. A leak search must be performed in order for system to be charged. Found evaporator coil very rusty and impacted requiring cleaning. Blower wheel impacted and needs chemical cleaning. Blower capacitor failing and needs replacement. Condenser coil impacted and needs chemical cleaning. Compressor capacitor failing and needs replacement. System is 21 years old and has passed its life expectancy making it more prone to failures. System replacement is recommended due to age, condition and estimated costs of repairs. Customer will call us tomorrow once Mr. and Mrs. have figured out a time to speak with a comfort specialist. Recommend joining Comfort Advantage Club.

R410a up to specs 1)tune up 2) I checked all capacitors and replaced filter and confirmed system is low on refrigerant I advised to charge system up and install locking caps on system, client authorized repair and I also recommend extended warranty parts and labor for the next 5 years, client will make a decision later on that. 3)Job complete, left Thermostat on desired temperature, and final cycled system for proper operations.

The indoor air is not clean. Performed a thorough evaluation of the HVAC system, found 90% dirty ducts and 100% impacted blower assembly, flushed the condensate drain then cleaned the outdoor system found low in refrigerant per client he will calling his home warranty to recharge the refrigerant. Return visit needed to clean the ducts and to install the IAQ 1000.

Upon arrival customer explained that furnace was leaking water the other day, they shut off furnace and it continued to leak for a while before eventually stopping. Turned AC on and checked refrigerant pressures. Found that system has restriction in piston causing sub-freezing evaporator temps leading to the coil freezing up. System is 22 years old and uses r22. Spoke with customer about high costs to repair systems with r22, recommend replacing the system due to age, condition and estimated costs of repairs. Set up appointment for tomorrow @ 4pm to discuss replacement options with comfort specialist. Furnace is also 22 years old and customer would like to see about replacing it as well. Advised customer to leave system off to prevent water damage. Recommend joining Comfort Advantage Club.

1)other 2) client has water spots on drywall coming from a plumbing side I also noticed some water marks are hvac duct and advised to get duct cleaning done to prevent sweating and since they have mold from the water dripping I advised to install air scrubber to sanitize air 99.9% to the touch of a door knob client authorized work and is schedule for Friday (5/29/20) expect a full day job. 3)Job not complete, we must come back to do work.

This option is the least expensive option that would safely address what we were called out for. Customer had home warranty put in upstairs unit and outdoor unit three years ago, every since then he’s had a major leak somewhere inside of the outdoor unit. Refrigerant has been needed to charge the system twice (18’ & 19’) suction line psi was at 0, blower wheel was 100% impacted air filter was 0% impacted. Husband is the only one working and wants to complete the leak search on June 10th and get the done.

Arrived for cooling and water heater maintenance. Set the thermostat to cool. Checked all electrical components for indoor system as well as inspection of blower wheel and ducts. Some dirt and dust buildup was beginning to form. Advised client of Teflon treatment service we provide. Uv bulb will need to be replaced soon. Flushed the condensation drain line with water to remove debris and dirt. Flushed water heater for removal of sediment. Washed the outdoor coil with cleaner then rinsed off with water. Electrical components are good as well as system pressures. System is now operational. Job complete.

Both blower wheels are 100% impacted airflow is not distributing properly to the main floor return grill has a lot of dust in the debris Air filters were just replaced amperage on both capacitors are low Charles Lee is not the landlord he’s just the caretaker for the property the actual owner lives in Korea I was not able to get her email to add to send notes and estimates Tenet expressed that AC was barely pumping for the main floor refrigerant levels are low in both systems.

This option is the least expensive option that would safely address what we were called out for. R 22 refrigerant recharge to proper super heat and sub cooling Cooling safety inspection and maintenance Turned the thermostat to cooling then dropped the temperature to 60f, inspected the return ducts, pulled out and replaced the dirty filter, flushed the condensation drain line and inspected the evaporator coil, the evaporator coil is in a poor condition. Cleaned the condenser coil and checked the compressor, the capacitor and the fan motor found low in refrigerant advised the client to upgrade the system due to age, condition and efficiency, the client authorized the immediate repairs for now. Recharge the system then final cycled. Job complete.
