LM for Greg for estimate for new water line from the B-box to the house. Asked for an eta for after the holiday. 11/26,kss Need Dave to come look at job and give estimate to potentially run new service or make spot repair outside no it is a copper water service. It is approximately 36’ from b box foundation of home. Service is approximately 5 to 6’ deep.
There is something very large in their sewer line. Pete marked it and said it won't be ablt to be pushed through. She said it looks like a giant hockey puck. Refered by Pete / City of Joliet
Water heater service. Leaking pipes and an expansion tank. Replaced tank, air separator, 1-1/4” black pipe, fill valve/anti-backflow, and 1/2” copper pipe. The system was bled thoroughly. Hot water is coming out of all three return valves. The system is heating properly at this time.
Kitchen plumbing repair. Replaced basket strainers and tailpieces.
The furnace and possibly the board are bad.
Water heater repair. Installed customer supplied thermocouple.
Plumbing repair. Replaced 4” cast coming from upstairs bathroom with pvc, also replaced some galvanized water piping with copper. Pulled vanity to find leak on water pipe in wall. Found leak on air chamber. Repaired leak and put vanity back in place.
Furnace repair. Replaced inducer motor, under warranty. NC.
Boiler repair. Inspected heating system, will work up estimate on boiler replacement, tankless combo system and repipe. Repiped sump pump discharge line and removed tub drain assembly. Replaced gasket and added new sealer to tub drain. Nothing leaking at this time.
Plumbing repair. Tightened the 1/8” plug that was leaking from the factory to resolve the issue.
Boiler repair. Replaced the pump on the boiler and bled the system. Boiler in the crawl space, 29 inch tall!
Commercial drain cleaning. Attempted to rod from outside cleanout, but the rod snapped off in the line. Retrieved broken rod. Water jetted and vacuumed the line. The sewer is open now. Also tightened the faucet and replaced the aerator in the women’s restroom.
Church steam boiler repair. 4-inch steam pipe leaking under the church.
